While i allready suggested some Sd.Kfz.10 and the armored Chassis Sd.Kfz.250, i would now like to suggest the Sd.Kfz.10/5 Gepanzert, which is one of the first Halftrack AA vehicles the german army made, it would add a upgrade next to the Flakpanzer I Ausf. A, as it both carries more ammo and is much faster.
It would add more of the widely liked Halftrack gameplay and broaden the vehicleusage of the german army in game and give another versetale fast vehicle to the german TT.
Of the Sd.Kfz.10 the /4 and /5 were pretty much identical, while the /4 used the 2 cm Flak 30 L/65 and the /5 the 2 cm Flak 38 L/65. These came both as is and with Behilfspanzerung for the cooling grill and driver, sometimes even more.
The Sd.Kfz. 10 was designed and had its first prototype build in 1934 and after further development the first production of the D6 started in 1937 and in 1938 the D7 which was the pretty much final and main production model, of which around 17.500 were build till the end of production 1944. The Sd.Kfz. 10 was also used as the basis for the armored version Sd.Kfz. 250.
it was build by Büssig-NAG, Österreichische Saurer Werke, Mühlenbau und Industrie AG, Maschinenfabrik Niedersachsen Hannover, Adlerwerke and MWC Mechanische Werke Cottbus GmbH.
It was well liked for its low rolling resistance of only 5% higher than a 4 wheel vehicle of same size with a top speed of 75 km/h (Drivers were told to stay at 65 duo to wear) powered by the (in the final version from 1940 100 Ps HL 42 TRKM engine).
It was equipped with a at the time quite modern semiautomatic 7/3 Gear Maybach-Variorex Preselecter Transmission with easy use and great reliability.
It was used the whole war and used on all fronts as well as sold to Sweden and used by Romania.
Its mane use was as the 1t gun traktor as well as small troop transport and duo its availability and need often with guns mounted on top of it such as 2 cm Flak 30 (as 10/4), 2 cm Flak 38 (10/5) and as field mods with armor and often a 3,7 cm gun or 5 cm gun.
The Gun:
2 cm Flak 38 L/65
480 rpm -20° to + 90° elevation, 360° Traverse
320 rounds storage, optionally also a Ammo trailer with additional 640 rounds. 20 and 40 round mags.
Ammo: Different AP and HE rounds. 148g/820m/s to 120g/920m/s and HVAP 100g/1050m/s
