I really don’t understand why the VRCC is still stuck with the basic Rank VI scout drone after being moved up to 10.0 BR.
Just look at the Radkampfwagen 90. When it was at 10.0 BR, before being moved to 10.3, it already had access to the advanced scout drone with thermal imaging and a much longer signal range. Meanwhile, the VRCC is now sitting at that same BR but still has to make do with the basic drone, which has a shorter range and no thermals.
I get that the two vehicles belong to different ranks, but that shouldn’t mean one gets a much better scouting system while the other is left behind, especially when they’re fighting in the same BR range.
The whole point of BR is to balance vehicles according to their performance and the enemies they face. So why should the VRCC be at a disadvantage in such an important part of its gameplay just because it’s Rank VI?
I think the easiest solution would be to give the VRCC the Rank VII scout drone.
Light tanks rely a lot on scouting, it’s one of the main things that makes them useful for the team. Being able to spot enemies from a distance and help your teammates is a big part of playing these vehicles. So having a worse drone just because the VRCC is Rank VI makes no sense, especially now that it’s at 10.0.
I’m not asking for anything crazy here. Just give it the same drone that other light tanks at this BR have access to. I don’t see why the VRCC should be at a disadvantage in one of its most important roles because of an artificial rank limitation.
