The Challenger add-on armour is good for KFOR too.
Is the difference between the transmissions and engines well represented? The Scimitar Mk1 has a gasoline engine while the Mk2 is diesel, and they have different transmissions, with the Mk2’s being more modern.
The table is the worst thing too.
Blocks a load of vision and combined with the antenna gives your position away easily when trying to flank or hide turret down.

@Smin1080p_WT the removal of the TES bar armour and weight from Scimitar 2 has made it much more viable.
What about the spoiler and ECM equipment? This equipment was installed for operations in Afghanistan due to the IED thread present in 2000s-2010s insurgency warfare, but was no longer seen on Scimitar Mk 2 when deployed on Operation CABRIT.
While the rear turret bin is not visible in the attached image, the ECM unit can be seen to be removed by virtue of the spoiler no longer being present. This is due to changes in operational requirements eg. the change from an irregular warfare environment to a conventional warfare environment, where speed and stealth are prioritised. It can be quite reliably assumed that the complete TES package has been removed, and the low-profile OTIS bin has been reinstalled on the rear of the turret.
Fig.1 The spoiler alone adds around 2-3 ft to the vehicle’s already increased height, making reconnaissance by stealth more difficult.
Fig.2 & 3 The two air vents and cabling leading to the antennae clearly mark this as an ECM unit, and not an air conditioning unit. Neither is it a radio, as it is housed externally.
More detail in @ScimitarsCurse’s Bug Report Scimitar Mk2 jammer/roll protection should be removable.
I appreciate that the gun limits were recently corrected, meaning that the vehicle is still getting some attention.

Currently its not planned, but as you linked already, there is an open suggestion for it. So it will depend on the developers evaluation of that.

I would appreciate losing the tea table to that the light scout tank can be light and scout without a giant “artillery here plz” sign
If I had to guess the air conditioning unit would be part of a revision to the NBC unit or an addition to it, which will be located within the vehicles hull. There’s more than enough space within a Spartan hull alongside the RARDEN 30mm turret to house a rather large unit. Would be very unusual to mount it to the rear of the turret.
Will know later this year when we get our hands on one
Yeah integrating A/C and NBC is very typical for AFVs (example; the one I work on atm), though there are always outliers where the A/C is just bolted on somewhere, such as on Warrior TES(H).

The NBC that scimitar used initially was designed 40 years prior to scimitar mk2s (and FRV upgrade scimitar mk1s), I’d be shocked if they didn’t make a revised model that included the AC system that fits in the same spot
The brochure doesn’t list any changes to the NBC pack, I imagine the only changes would have been those necessary for integration of the A/C system.
