Hey @Jεcka do you have any sources about the ERA´s effectiveness against KE? I couldnt find much on that regard and medium calibre isnt such a reliable term for a report.
I did find a Report on the ISL (a French/German Institute) that tested ERA´s with a Long Rod APFSDS with a Penetration of ~94mm at a speed of 1400m/s and DND was involved in there aswell
I have a document stating the “heavy variant” (i.e 80kg) is capable of defeating a STANAG 5 threat by itself, however it is restricted still as far as I know, so not much I can do, however;

It actually talks about both, and in fact states Puma and the latest Leopard 2 variants both share the same “fifth generation armor technology”, so at the very least we should be looking at a VERY EFFECTIVE composite plates.

From what i can recall from DND´s and PSM´s Sources that it uses Composites (i.e Ballistic Materials like probably Glass Fibre since its classified as a Ballistic material)

Also… does CLARA even protect versus tandem warheads in WT?
According to DND, it should.
And DND also states outright that the hybrid version (80kg i.e), will defeat KE projectiles by itself:
So in WT it protects against 500mm of SCs but from what i could research the ERA was tested against a Tandem Warhead RPG7.
But what i find really strange is that the Add on Armor ingame (the ones that are Structural Steel) when i reported it, i was asked of the Materials on those plates (which is strange as no other composite plate on the Puma has a composition list)
AFAIK PSM directly stated all add-on armor is either composite or rolled/high hardness steel.

I just checked, this was also reported 4 Years ago allready maybe there is something usefull in it for your report :)
@Smin1080p_WT may I ask, are those old reports still on the To do List of the Devs or did they got whiped with the New Forum?
Recovered reports from the Old Forum:
- Puma IFV roof armor (AMAP-R) does not offer protection against EFPs
- PUMA IFV - inaccurate gun. → Not a bug
- [2.14.0.30] Puma IFV turret lacks its NERA array
- [2.14.0.39] Protection of Puma’s side-composite blocks is too low on the dev server.
- [2.14.0.29] Puma IFV’s KLARA ERA provides too little protection.
Puma IFV’s armour blocks are modelled as structural steel(Report is gone forever)- [2.14.0.30] Puma IFV lacks NERA plates beneath the CLARA ERA.
- Puma IFV the entire roof composite seems to be missing.
- Puma IFV UFP is currently just a single 5mm steel plate
- Puma IFV AHEAD penetration

The Fact that these reports are available and aswell as that Also has Issues that could make the Puma more effective. But i doubt any of these arent even considered anymore since those werent added since like 2022
Ye, + if they arent on there internal list anymore (Smin, pls answer that) you could pretty eazy report them again as most have even the Pics still aviable

I am honestly suprised these Reports still exist and even have their respective info too. But i wonder are these sources still valid for nowaday´s report rules.
Thats the good think, the rules havent changed that much + most reports there go via multiple secondary or primary sources, or a mix of both
