The SAV 20.12.48 should be higher in BR. Every time I encounter one of them, it’s always getting 5+ kills and most of them in a matter of seconds and if it’s my team, I can see how they’re hunting for kill steals. This last battle, for example, I ended up almost at the lowest place on the team because this player kept stealing my kills and he got first place and all the kills he had were all stealed.
This tank is simply unfair and unbalanced and should be either pushed up in BR or flat out removed from the game.
Pulling out the statistics, this tanks has a K/D ratio of 1.78, while others at the same BR (3.7) has a K/D ratio of under 1, even reaching lower than 0.5

true, but you also gotta understand that the SAV is mostly getting played by high level players facing low level rookie’s and with this im not saying that it is balanced at that BR, but im just doing a observation
Mostly yes, but it still an overpowered tank. I realised that you literally can’t react to it, you die befor doing anything
sav and sweden 3.7 is played by good players most of the time so thats why they stomp matches. Am not saying its good at 3.7 but it is what it is. Youtuber makes a video about good low tier tank and stomps people bc he is a god at the game->people starting learning about the tank->more good players play it->more popular it gets->more people play it and so on.
Have you played the SAV? Because if you have not it is again just a person complaining about a vehicle they face being OP but not knowing anything about it.
Survivorship bias right here. You only think it is OP because you have seen games where it shines. But you have not seen games where you immediately get strafed or .50caled in it. It’s a glass cannon. Yeah sure it has massive damage output due to the reload but the penetreation is not that amazing and the armour is nonexistent.
Not saying it could not do well at higher BRs but I don’t really see a need to move it.

Just like any other tank. Its real strenght is the fact that it can afford to miss shots and also hold chokepoints against more people. Its still a casemate

Played it quite a bit when it was fresh, and had amazing streaks with it - but also amazing loss streaks…
Survivor bias would apply if I only take into account good matches for SAVs, but I’m talking about world wide statistics and my own observation. Just check the K/D on every SAV you encounter and you’ll see how they’re always way above 1
Well yeah mine is at 1.9.
But that is mostly because it is really easy to take out a group of people because of the reload. Whoever fires first still usually wins.
Maybe its a skill issue from me but I never found it to be as good as everyone says or unfair to fight against. The pros and cons of the thing are in perfect balance making it fine at 3.7.
Yeah it can be a strong in certains situations or if you whif your first shot. But otherwise if enemies are encountered one by one it really is just a mediocre TD.
Jokes aside, I can’t lie that SAV 20.12.48 is a very annoying vehicle to deal with some times, and when I have the opportunity to do so, it’s my primarly target to take out because my first thought is that, someone will face it, will struggle and leave the path open to more free meals to this player.
Perhaps it should go to a higher battle rating but I think it’s nothing more than battle rating 4.0, the worst that it will face is ISU-152 and VK 30.02 (M) which are not very common vehicles to appear in a match. SAV 20.12.48 are one of the reasons why you should always bring two to four rounds of high explosive shell or high explosive anti-tank which both can easily overpressure.

it’s alright pen for 3.7, also if you whiff a shot its not like you have a long reload to try again…
Yes. Got it in my 4.0 lineup, but rarely use it, preferring the Pvkv m/43 (1946), which is an excellent sniper/ambusher with amazing zoom and very useful neg. vertical guidance.

Artillery, M4A2, KV-1, etc are all its enemies.
Of course being out-numbered as well.
I haven’t gotten the SAV purely because of its flaws all for a faster reload of a SAP round I don’t care to use.
It’s an okay tank, and there’s a reason I frag far more of them than they do of myself even accounting for my alleged skill.
I hope its owners are enjoying it regardless, I just know I wouldn’t have and facing them has been a non-issue for me since their release.
Then again, I’m also the dude that used T-20s as target practice for my 3.7 Shermans when I was allowed to.
Don’t forget the painful manual reload of the autoloader once you got those 6 rounds out quickly…
As I said, very situational.
Literally anytime the Sav sale comes around i hop into a KV-1 and bully Savs lol.
Im not afriad to show my KD, but i gotta be real the SAV is far from being the bully you think it is. There are plenty other vehicles i do far better with than the silly sav.
