Hello I like to say, that I like the change to the Sanai Map but the problem still remains that needs to be solved. The resupply circle and spawning points are way too exposed, once you’re in sight of the enemy tanks you’re done. In every time on Sanai I’m trying to get resupplied but get taken out from 3 directions of enemy fire so, I even had to time it while entrenching inside the circle to get a deep cover for my tank and those who are trying to seek cover. Once those buildings in the square are gone, we have no cover to run to from incoming fire.
The solution to this is to relocate the circle in the middle of the village our close to any surrounding rocks, not on a mount or hill just in a ditch or a crater. That way we tankers can resupply without getting hit because it’s impossible to beat the next time for the next wave of tanks.
Can you fix this.
That’s not just a Sinai problem, all Assault maps have the circle open to fire from at least one bot spawn point, with (surprisingly) Maginot being the best because for a while it’s possible to hide behind the concrete bunker before the other bot groups come in sight. Five of six maps also have player spawns out in the open, the exception being Kursk - but there the bots from the southernmost spawn will get you on the way to the fortified spots. It’s what makes taking down the bot planes so important.
As for restocking, always bring the full ammo count for Assault, not a partial one like for PvP. The game server “knows” where your ammunition is, and it’s controlling the bots as well, which is why a moving bot tank can do “trick shots” hitting your moving tank in the last four rounds you have onboard. Before this patch I have managed to play entire Sinai matches with one loadout in my Panthers (79 or 82 rounds), Tiger I (92) and once in the Panzer IV H (87), but it does require keeping an eye on the count and often enough a decision whether you have the angle for a kill shot or not. If not, don’t shoot.
If you’re playing high-tier tanks (BR 8.3 or higher) with a max ammo load of 40 to 60 on Sinai, my only advice is not to do that at all. It’s no fun.
