Realistic battles with the same nations on both sides spoil the gaming experience, especially when it comes to hearing and perceiving enemy vehicle engines. I kindly ask you to solve this problem in order to maintain the excellent Warthunder gameplay experience.
This occurrence in arcade battles is not a problem, but I believe it should not happen in realistic and simulation battles.
+1
I full on believe we should be returning to a nation matchmaker that tries to setup “interesting” battles with specific “Teams” rather than the random crap we get now like USA/GER/ITA versus USSR/FRA/UK/Japan in the ww2 brackets… Them removing this type of matchmaker for the most part from RB has seriously soured the experience for me personally.
Well, this game is about realism, not anyone’s preferred historical ideas.
Realism and balance are more important than personal ideas about what should face what.
I completely agree. One of the fun things about the game was having at least that point of historical realism of enemy nations facing each other, with tanks that faced each other in reality. But like everything minimally realistic and historical in this game, it is eliminated. Let’s hope that one day the developers change their minds and put aside the effort of making an arcade game, to give it that point of realism and history that is what made this game something different and interesting.
I propose a hybrid system where this is the primary way but if the wait times get too long it switches to the new mishmash system. Any battle with the same nation on 2 sides should not exist in RB
