So, the map has terrible weather, BUT where I have to fly above the clouds to survive and avoid hitting a tree, on the ground, you can see planes through clouds SIX KILOMETERS HIGH (19,685 ft for those of you who don’t understand anything).
Seriously, what the hell is this nonsense?
Realism is “poor game design”?
Okay…
The solution is to not fly out in clouds where radars can easily punch through clouds and lock larger radar signatures [planes].
“Above the clouds” means that I WAS above the clouds (not IN them) and I made sure to get above his radar, into his BLIND SPOT. It’s also a strategy (that I use all the time).
But since this game has variable visibility depending on who’s where, I can’t see anything on the ground, but the guy in AA sees me (with his eyes, NOT ON RADAR), 6 km higher, ABOVE THE CLOUDS, and he MANUALLY shot me down because he could see me THROUGH 6 KM OF CLOUD, even though I was in his radar’s blind spot. Is that clearer?
