Wiki says B+C are 18.5 HP/T, and D is 17.6 HP/T
Compared that to 2B’s 14.3 HP/T and 2D’s 13.6 HP/T.
It’s odd to me they think useless armour matters more than mobility with the Mk2, yet mobility matters more than useless armour with the Mk3 lol.
No need to compare Sabra to just 2D.
When compared to AMX-40 for example, it only has significantly worse mobility (and no 20mm) while being better at gun handling, reload speed, ammo and armor.
When compared to T-64B it has worse armor and that’s about it. It’s superior in terms of gun handling, gun depression, thermals, reload speed, ammo.
I won’t even mention 9.3s, because some are getting blown out of the water by Sabra, which shouldn’t happen considering they’re just a single BR step apart.
In my opinion Sabra is a closer competitor to 2K than it is to AMX-40 or T-64B.

I’d love this vehicle but grinding out the whole israel tree for it isn’t worth it. Same vibes as the 120S which wrecks.

I just started playing my Israel M-51 for the first time lol pretty much spaded it and barely research the vehicle next to it, already lost my motivation to continue. There are only two vehicles that I interested in playing, the Magach Hydra and this Sabra, it will take a long ass time to get there by playing mostly things I do not interested and not sure if it worth my time and energy.

I agree with you. M428 would be only for the Merkava 2D (and Sabrah, Eitan and TAM 2CA2 when they are added to the TT).
Either way, the 2D should get at least M426 right now.
This with a 105mm would be so funny, Israel please make one…

Both the Sabra and the 120S have to much firepower for their BR.
Just move Sabra 1 up to 10.0, maybe get the other variants to actually form a line up. Or give the Merkava 2D the M426 or even better M428 sword round.

From January to October 2024 I had to suffer cancer 292 with 152 x 700mm and stalinum armor. I didn’t see you complaining about him during this time.

2S25M, penetrates 9mm less than Sabra… and has tandem missiles, scouting and drones… both tanks are paper, although the sprut is more agile. Sabra reloads slightly faster, but sprut has an autoloader and better thermals.
I agree that Sabra can go up to 10.0. In fact, I never use it at 9.7, I use it at 10.0 with the chaparral. But 120S is superior to Sabra with the hull down. Strong turret and better reload, so 0.3 difference is fine. Both can’t be from the same BR.

No need to complain as it has laughably bad reload speed. Literally 3BM42 with 7.1s reload is a better combo than that.
And has a second longer reload with trash gun depression.
Sabra is much more armored than Sprut as it can stop some darts, meanwhile Sprut dies from 12.7mm.
