Yeah nvm, I mistook the NCTR was also for IFF.
a grippy gets 80 cms and c grippy gets 92, but in the menu it says c grippy gets 80. thats what confused me
seems like the 12 extra cms are flare only. imo should still be represented on the stat card
Though I wouldnt be surprised if NCTR should also be displayed in some of the HMDs as well. At least for certain contacts or at certain ranges.

It can use them, i doubt that Gaijin will give them to it though.
To my knowledge it was the Gripen E that received the ability to carry them.
Timeline wise, that would make sense. Probably using Brimstone 2 or 3s like the Typhoon and that was 2017 onwards
I don’t believe any real images of the Gripen with brimstones exist. SAAB says they are compatible and have done 3D renders but given non of the Gripen Operators use them its not surprising they don’t have images with them. Given we will likely see real Brimstones come to warthunder in the not to distant future i could see the Gripen E maybe getting them as that would be their best AGM for a time.

Probably one of those classic cases of it can be done, but there is no need for it to be done at the moment. They might also be waiting for Spear-3s as well, maybe deciding that those would be more valuable than the Brimstone 2/3s but have cleared them just in case anyway
