MS or Material System, its kind of like the BLK series for US aircraft and such, while they have the designation of C they have MS to differentiate the individual C models.

My bug report for the problem, i have the purchase records for the SAAF gripens and their some contract records for needed for 3rd party suppliers as SAAF had so many financial they needed other cheaper companies to try and extend the service life for their gripens, in 2020 they were so poor they had to ground all their gripens and only a bit ago made a deal with SAAB to get them back up and flying.

MS17 is the MK. 1 from the Gripen A so the C’s use the oldest radar and weakest. All gripen C’s in game also have the ability to use GBU-39 which was only added with MS20 so they should have the MK.4

Viggen are also dead specially there fm and those engine that can empty whole fuel load of 40 min in 10 min

Eft is lot better now specially after that fix
They use to be far worse with their fuel consumption lol, back when the AJ37 came out you could empty a full 47min tank in about 4 minutes of afterburning lol
No, Gripen E and NG /MS21 were not the only ones to use Meteor, the C’s are generally well received from buyers that wanted their service life to be able to equip new weapons

See i heard in game the A got the weight nerf but i never had anyone show proof so if this is new then yeah guess they nerfed the A because of its weight. You can ask most of the original A pilots since again it did weigh less on launch like it should irl.

There is nothing to stop JAS39C to use Meteor and IRIS-T.

Not in game, they’re identical. Ask any duellist ( I know you haven’t ) and look at the statshark graphs
I don’t think either Gripen A nor C in the game has the MK.1 radar, it’s likely an early MK.3 or late MK.2.
