Yeah, ive been tempted by thsoe in the past as well, but overall. Just not quite enough for me to commit to grinding the Swedish tree currently. If Britain doesnt get CF-18, then maybe for Finnish F-18.

and yeah, i’ve heard good things baout hte F-1C, but just waiting on a sale first.

Bonuses for researching new in-game nations

Currently, War Thunder features 10 playable nations, and we have no intentions of stopping there! However, as we introduce new nations, it becomes increasingly challenging to capture the attention of veteran players. They have already traversed the ranks multiple times, and therefore, each new journey through a different tree becomes less captivating.

To address this, we plan on implementing a system to alleviate the situation. If a player has a top vehicle in a vehicle branch within one nation, they will receive a RP bonus when researching the equivalent branch of other nations.

In the research tree, certain vehicles will be marked as “top” vehicles for each nation at any given time. Once a player gets one of these vehicles, they will receive an RP bonus when researching other nations where they haven’t yet obtained the top vehicles. The size of the bonus will depend on the rank being researched and will be applicable for the first three battles played each day.

The preliminary bonus for each rank will be:

• For rank IV +15%
• For rank V + 25%
• For rank VI + 35%
• For ranks VII and VIII + 50%

These are our initial plans, but we may adjust them by the time the new mechanics have been introduced.

We plan to add these bonuses in a future major update, planned for October-November 2023.

For planned economy changes, we’d like to highlight an important improvement from the previous Roadmap. This is the research bonuses for new nations that we want to implement in the second major update of this year. Thanks for your patience on this one.

France is pretty sweet. M2K was very slept on, but now everyone has gotten a taste for it with the CS4… the M2K-5F has all aspect TWS, HMD and will be able to carry 6 Mica fox 3 next update. Both Magic 1 and Magic 2 have also gotten great buffs recently, and if that’s not enough the Rafale is next.

Honestly the J35XS is so cool that I’d say the premium alone is worth it on a sale, even if you have no intention of grinding Sweden. Fantastic flight performance, can cobra (it’s cool ok), carries 6 missiles and rockets on top of that, recently got fuel tanks, good radar, no PD but it’s 10.7… IRST…

Yeah, definetly something I’ll look at, and yeah, france I think is my next planned nation, A few things have me interested for air, even stuff like the Super Etendards

Interesting… So since I have pretty much maxed out 4 nations in air, (USSR, Sweden, Israel, France) - I’ll get quite a few bonuses here? do they stack?

I dont think so. But there are WAY too many unanswered questions about how it will work and I think there will be a lot of changes before June to what was said last year.

Yeah, I even asked 3 times, but never got a response.

So many times, new features like this are mentioned, and Sim is sat in the corner, waiting to be noticed. (with naval usually in the opposite corner also waiting)

If you are using that thing in the right top corner its a radar thats shows position of the target from the side

That’s about what I looked like when you claimed to be able to tell apart multiple afterburner modes and turn rates from a blurry, shaky video kilometres away from a jet

You know it shows ~9 when he is on the arifeild not even moving, the G scale, as well as 20 AoA

I dont think a simulator anyone can use will give u such data for free. That would not be very smart
