MAWS gets set off by a host of false positives I’m struggling to identify.
MAWS does not deploy chaff.
True, but i’m guessing that that is a larger thing that might take a while to fix as every other option would also need to be changed to make way for the additional inner slots. But they might also stick with it this way, there are other planes that have multi missile options that cant choose just one in that spot (F-15E for example, the under belly option is two and two and you can’t choose just one), i personally hope not.

Pretty sure that is how it is IRL for Gripen. The BOL are mounted in the missile rail, if you’re mounting A2G weapons then that rail isn’t there (for obvious reasons).
You’d think for toptier multiroles they’d do a bit more to ensure flexibility.

I thought it was, but there were no flares around. It was just going off against something consigned to the aether apparently.
Seems like they took the easy way out and modeled the center pylons as one group depending what ordinance is chosen.
@Michael-IR Also seems like there’s enough space for a singular AMRAAM to fit in the center, but unfortunately they didn’t separate the center pylon groups

For seperate pylons probably not. Seems like gaijin was in a rush considering how they implemented the AMRAAMs in dev and chose to go with that route for the pylons with other weaponry.
Yeah, seems the MAWS is back to being screwed. Doesn’t deploy chaff anymore, like when it was introduced.

Should discriminate threat, throw out chaff when necessary and flares otherwise. Only throws out flares, which is how the early configuration was on dev.

Damn, so RWR still not spherical, Radar/map MFD does not scale, no smart countermeasure release, still the old 39C HMD, no datalink/IFF in HMD.
