Hard to say, we know the Gripens pylons are able to mount it but as always it’s the tech part and yes gaijin normally bends rules if they feel like it but there’s also not much info recorded online to say at least from what I’ve seen that MICA never did any sort of integration. Seems like a waste to have the missile delivered for testing to then not bother testing it’s compatibly l.
It’s more so just an assumption that there may be an image from FMV with the MICA mounted. All depends on if it was documented and scanned online
Gripen is known to be easy to integrate stuff too, if there is any weapon you want to have on your Gripen (NATO/western at least) it is possible for the most part. if we were to add every weapon that the Gripen technically could carry the list would be more or less endless which is why for the most part it is just the weapons that are in service or actually shown to work so to say that have been added.
now SPICE and Brimstone might be slight exceptions I think because 39E has never flown with them in service but I might have missed something from Brazil so don’t quote me on this. there are promotional pictures from SAAB with them fitted though.

Yeah bud they fixed the central pylon icon…after 2 months…anyway look a copy pasted squadron gripen c but twin seater and no gun so we can ignore the gripen e for another update and claim that the j10c need more than the gripen

Aside from the fact that the Gripen D is now a two-seater, are there any other changes in performance? I hope the Gripen C’s radar-related issues have been resolved in the D.
Not really, IRL it’s used as a trainer for the C so it’s ment to be as close to the C as possible so that student pilots get’s as close of an experience as possible. The only things i know of on the top of my head is the two seats and the lack of main gun.
What specifically are you referring to?
(Side note; someone should create a Gripen D thread for things to be discussed about it there, or perhaps use a Gripen C thread as that’s more relevant to the version).
They also slightly differ in ammount of fuel. The 39D lacks one of the fuel tanks that sits behind the pilot in the 39C so it has about 88,5% of the total internal fuel of the 39C.
This is nothing major but still a difference.

Afaik its alittle heavier too
Weighs more which means worse flight performance also less fuel

Tbh i feel frustration w/ Sweden+Finland Tree, seeing what other nations getting decent domestic/import armament, vehicles & airforce;
Would be nice to get some anti-ship missiles, right Gaijin? Hell, all Gripen E avionics in WT is a COPY-PASTE from E2K; And a two seater gripen D at 13.7 is just a nail in the coffin;

Might as well just use the generic swedish Gripen C thread. The D is just a two seater version no reason to make a new thread for a slight change
