Also the Saab can be tanky. Ive flown back to base missing my right wing tip and my left engine being out but if i got into another fight id be dead. If you plan on fighting play like someone is gonna steal your kill. I never let them fly away if they are on fire simce they have an extinguisher.
Well you’re very lucky to have squamates you can play with a lot. Most of my friends don’t play a lot or have jet tiers. And I haven’t gotten too aquinted with my squadron yet
Yeah, they are surprisingly tuff for a jet, why can’t my F86 be like that :(
Most of my squad mates dont play past 9.0 because missiles are cringe lol. They prefer more focus on dogfighting.
Lol
Same, and I think that’s why I die so much when playing jets
I have to say I disagree. There are a few other aircraft at 8.3 that has AAMs as there is an aircraft in the French and American Tech trees
(I don’t feel like checking every tech tree and every premium so let me know what I missed)
Another factor for it being at 8.3 is because it doesn’t have any integrated guns, if you want a gun, you have to bring a gun pod. On top of that its not that fast for its BR.
As for the CCIP, I don’t know what to tell ya.
Sometimes I don’t care if a vehicle is blatantly OP and undertiered, but if other nations also feature the same kind of vehicle I’d be ok like with the A-4E that was 8.7 but got moved up BR to 9.3 on ground battles.
Thats the problem not every nation has an equivalent. If we went about moving vehicles based just because they have an ability you’d have a ton of vehicle’s that cant do anything compared to their contemporaries. Do you think the Saab 105 should be the same Br as something like the A4E? 8.7 for ground doesn’t really affect it if it went up since nobody plays sweden at 8.3 for ground, air wise its not OP it doesnt do very well compared to vehicle’s at its BR. I tend to find them also very easy to deal with in ground RB since they still have to get close to the ground to effectively use CCIP. Its weird that i see people (not saying you) think it should be with the A4E considering the differences in what they can do.
Sea hawk on britain is 8.0 without missiles iirc but the german premium version has 4 missiles and is at the same BR. The 105 is pretty mid for air but for CAS its pretty good. Wouldn’t replace A4B since i have CCRP. Tbf i have gotten very good woth CCRP. Enough to say its almost on par withh CCIP. Just requires more preparation and knowledge of vehicle whereabouts on the map.
It only has 2, but your point still stands
My bad, i dont own it though i was interested at one point before just buying the ju 288 since i wanted it for my 6.7 line up, should’ve gone with the do 335 rip lol.
Actually A-4E should be at 8.7 for ground vehicles. Even, as you said and I agree, begin vehicles easy to deal.
From experience the only thing that worth on the A-4E is the TV guided bombs, where in this specific vehicle the Israeli variant (premium) is the better when you consider ordnance options, it can carry the same TV guided bombs with the Aim-9B missiles, even knowing they’re not good.
I am intrested rn. I’m waiting for Oct to roll around to pick it up hopefully
Lol, 335 get’s dogged on in air rb though if your head on misses. I find it’s kinda like the A-10 of props. But I love it anyways :)
Only the Ayit, A-4E, A-4E (M) and Israeli A-4E (premium variant) have CCRP, the A-4B and A-4H doesn’t have.
If you know how to do CAS without assistance, they’re good vehicles, but this vary from player to player.
Meant to say A4E my bad. Regardless i have my 3 bullpups on my A4B for the US and i already play them at 9.3 since i have a bigger lineup their. Now if the 105 had RB05A and bombs that would be OP. The SK60 is a weird vehicle. Carry the AGM’s and your defenseless. It also has grossly weak engines for 7.0 though i remember it being higher BR when i first played. Sweden doesn’t have a proper lineup at 7.0 or 7.7 so it gets played at 8.0 if anything, though i never actually see them outside of air RB
What have you been told that conflicts what ive said?
Dealing with 105’s from me. Doing vertical moves is very situational and depends on the aircraft as to whether one should do it against another aircraft. Some leave themselves as a free kill if they cant outrun the 105 while going up, other can use this as a way to force the 105 to bleed speed. If the 105 has missiles going in a straight line is just a bad idea.
So for what he’s said there, I think there are better, lower risk alternatives. The RB-24’s are Aim-9B equivalent, so, so long as you are watching while you are running you can make a slight turn to avoid them without bleeding too much speed, if you go into a straight vertical and lose all your speed in an attempt to get him to lose all his too so you can hammerhead down onto him when he stalls, what can happen is that he will get a lock with his 9b’s and you are too slow to turn to avoid it. In a 1v1 gunfight doing vertical loops will bleed the speed of the 105, much in the same way you can use them to beat IL-2’s and 10’s, so is an effective way to beat them, but like you’ve said is an issue, you are putting yourself on a platter for a 3rd party. Disciplined energy fighting where you focus on keeping your own energy is generally better than all in’ing and trading it for one kill/gun solution. Hope that clarifies, let us know how you are going on.
Lol yeah it does now. :)
I’m actually doing much better now. I’ve been keeping my speed up and have found it a lot easier to play the F-86’s. Granted I did end up switching from the F-35 to the F-2, but I still feel like I’m doing better stock with the F-2 than spaded with the F-35. I still occasionally forget to keep speed up and go into vertical maneuvers but that’s generally towards the last half of the match and It’s normally a 2v2 or something.
I do have just a question though.
When you say stay on the deck and reach high speeds then zoom climb, how fast would you recommend and what degree of climb? Right now I generally wait until 700Km/h then go into a 20 degree and it is generally enough to give me 3500m.
