I want to tell the RWR is not showing if somebody is near with radar on appoint in your direction, mainly in the top tier
if you think there is a bug in the game you can bug report it here (just search a bit first so that you don’t report something that is already reported and known about): (Gaijin.net // Issues)
A guide on how to report bugs can be found here: ([Navigation] Technical Knowledge Base | War Thunder Wiki)
Any specific on the planes? AFAIK for example SPO-15 cant pick up the J band which got me killed a few times when RWRs got reworked.
A replay would be useful
Looks like all planes, I dont know if its because gaijin nerfed the radars, or if the RWR is bugged, Sometimes it shows someone that was on my side or behind me and the RWR doesn’t give any warning
Radar without AESA or PESA are so nerfed too, gaijin needs to fix it
Sure it was a SARH or ARH missiles?
Im not talking about the warning missile Im talking about the radar pings in the RWR
Yes, and you are 100% sure you should have been getting RWR warnings? (I.e you were killed by an SARH or ARH guided missile?)
(Also if it was a friendly, then you can select whether or not friendly aircraft trigger your RWR within the air battle settings)
Just because an enemy is behind you, doesnt mean you’ll get RWR warnings if they have switched their radar off. If they then fired an IR missile at you, you still wouldnt get any RWR warnings.
What is needed is for you to link a match where you found the RWR not working correctly (ideally with a time as well)

That way we can see if we can figure out a cause for the lack of RWR warnings or whether it actually was/is a bug
I doubt that all these enemies that appear out of nowhere have their radars turned off.
I dont know, would have to see the replay. But its actually more common than you think. At top/high tier, everyone has good RWRs, so locking and tracking a target with RWR, is a sure fire way to alert the enemy you are engaging them. But many aircraft have IRST which allows for much the same kind of tracking with no RWR pings. Those that dont, may very well rely upon no radar at all. Sometimes the radar can just make firing an IR missile at the target far harder than it should be
Of course, I know what an IR missile is. I already said I’m not talking about the missile warning system, I’m talking about radar pings when you are the target on the enemy’s radar, but it’s not tracking you
And again, have you checked the replays in sensor view to confirm the enemy had an active radar looking at you but resulting in no pings?
I will do it
