Russian top tier tanks need a fair buff

pls pin where did i say “dogfighting”.

and if u’re playing with the Tornado, u basically can’t complain about not being able of notching missiles, Tornado is just not made for that, i’m not surprised Tornado F.3 sits at 12.0 even with lots of CM and good missiles like the Skyflash SuperTEMP, the fuel comsumption and maneuverability are disgusting.

Read it as dogfight… sometimes i truly wonder if i have dyslexia.

Temps just drain so much energy its insane. Youll struggle to hit a guy from 30km who isnt even manouvering.

There are way less IRCCM missiles and radar missiles at 12.0 than at 13.0 – that’s for sure.

Edit: I don’t even think Kfir C.7 should be at 12.0 in the first place because its flight performance isn’t that crazy, and only gets access to Python 3s with no radar missiles. I think 11.7 may make more sense with it.

Well, let’s take a look.
The Mirage 2000 CS-4 gets way less countermeasures than the CS-5, so it makes sense why they are 0.3 BR different.

If the Su-33 didn’t have 2x R-27ERs and better RWR then I would agree with you.
You may not find any use of the 2x extra R-27ERs but I’m sure I could make use of them.
My friend has both of them spaded and apparently he prefers the extra 2x ERs.

The irony in this statement is that you keep talking how Russian top tier vehicles need a buff, but your highest overall Russian ground vehicle is the T-72B3 arena.

Something something pot calling the kettle black?

According to my experience 38MT offers better zoom, might be wrong tho.

You can check the dedicated thread for that and indeed HAMMER also overperforms in terms of seeker capability.

Unlike Hammer MT is completely fantasy there is not a single evidence that shows it exist and used, not to mention its far better than Hammer.

Topic about russian top tier tanks needing buff.
Starting to read this, most of this in here is about jets, cas loadouts etc etc.
Is this gone little offrails?

Neither do I.

I read the actual 38 NII sources and they only suggested the improvement. So anwyays… united24 and defence-blog, yikes. So far a nothingburger and “trust me bro”.

The whole 90M2 topic is just suggestions, plans and ideas…nothing official as in “Yes we are gonna do this or that”. One of the issues you hear all around is the transmission though so it will most likely find its way into the tank but technically not official for now

Until it’s been officially confirmed that the new transmission has been at least tested in a prototype it shouldn’t be added to the game. NATO or Chinese vehicles have had things denied for far less.

Same as with the T-80BVM 2023 situation. One single shady video releases where the person in the video claims a 20-23 km/h reverse speed with nothing to back that claim up. Suddenly a lot of the Russian players take this guy’s word as an absolute confirmation.

I agree and maybe not quite clearly but that was my try to say it aswell lol. Its all just talk and proposals but nothing official

Hopefully it doesn’t change Br before i can try it out where it is.im at 9.3 for that line rn, took a huge break from the game

Ah yes United24 the Ukraine intelligence page would certainly lie to make the Russian upgrade look good.

10/10 thought process on your behalf.

What do you think @An_Pigeon

Wasn’t the vid from the manufacturer though? Uralvagon- I’m not gonna try and spell it…

Well, could always get the T-14 Armata, which does indeed have an increased forward and reverse speed, better protection, and a much better gun.

Have you actually read your source? They write russia plans to do those upgrades. There’s nothing that suggests that they have actually done any.

Also ofc an Ukrainian outlet has an interest to make their current opponent seem as strong as possible but I guess it’s easier to accuse others of not thinking properly instead of using your brain yourself

Yes it was. However I’m still not going to believe the dude on his word, especially since they were extremely careful to keep the speedometer of the car hidden through the entire video.

He wants to sell this tank to the Russian government, a notoriously corrupt organisation, to make money. So I’m not going to just believe him.

Russia top tier ground shouldn’t receive any further buff(s) at all as long as their CAS remain so stupidly far ahead of everyone else.

I mean it’s all situational with these vehicles, it could be a one time thing which is reported or it could be the real deal.

Same as any nations vehicular upgrades during war times.

At least it’s something better than it just being thrown in and no sources or evidence, at all.

just as germany plans to mount brimstone 3 on the Typhoon, yet has access to brim one in game?

At this stage it’s all semantics to suit whatever one says.

same as most companies when they want a goverment contract I suppose

seconded.

Though I think he meant it more as a possible addition as at least we know it can potentially achieve X speeds etc even if it broke down IRl lol

the ariete is by far the worst top tier tank in the game, the t-90m is one of the better ones (since you are hand held by the balance team), the t-90m should be bad, but as dm53 doesn’t have accurate pen and should be able to upf you, as it is it’s a good tank(since it has artificially better armour).
gaijin doesn’t understand that the br system means that you can have vehicles be realistic and balanced at the same time.
both the ariete and t-90m if implemented correctly should just not be top tier tanks.
