Russian top tier tanks need a fair buff

Roof still “works”… It takes on average 4 to 5 shots for it to go through and by that point i have bigger issues on my hands. Hesh is hesh so i wont mention that but against apfsds rounds it aint the best place to shoot. The abrams trunion is a non issue as it wont eat all the spall. Driver port works but requires you to be up and at em while hoping volumetric doesnt fuck you.

it isn’t, it’s just u aiming too low making the shot kill the driver and nulify the tank’s mobility/capability of reloading.

if they have their crew’s vitality at lvl 5 or with expert crew and lvl 3, sure they can’t, if not, they can get killed by fuel tank explosions.

Ariete can be one tapped by a single Ka-52’s APDS (basically BTR-80A’s APDS), everybody in WT knows that tank has non-existant survivability, it doesn’t even deserve to be called “MBT”.

u literally just described the same weakspots most russian tanks have.
LFP, driver’s port and breach are usually the main weakspots of any toptier MBT, especially the LFP (pretty much an universal weakspot) and were u will be aiming to the most.

You need to rely on aim literally shoot the top of the turret.

Also every auto loader in game has RNG to it hence why the type 90 can survive hits to it same as leclerc.

Still works just fine for me mate L27A1, DCT 10, M829A2 name it working just fine.

The drivers port was, is and should always be the absolute last resort lol it’s never been and never will be a reliable shot.

As ever, we’ve also seen numerous NATO mbts taken out far more easily than in game IRL.

Not a metric for how the game should be.

Saying all that yet so blatantly wrong about a lot of it man.

I’ve accumulated over 4 thousand hours on the game and gotta say russian MBTs are not it.

This is 1 of about 50 i have in my folder but im not gonna spam a load of medal links as i think my wifi may just explode.

The first shot could have been aimed a little better but what do you expect me to do with the second, and that happens EVERY time you shoot a Russian breach now rather than it being some kind of rng.

If your getting in a knife fight at top tier air your doing something very very wrong, so what does that leave you? In an f15 facing r27ers. FM is not a deciding factor past like 12.7.

how many times have u faced a T-90M using 3OF26…

  2. it’s obvious 3BM60 has more spall cuz it’s a goddamn 125mm smooth-bore cannon, it’s literally one of the biggest cannons in the world, if we ignore prototype MBTs with 152mm auto-loaded cannons or even the german KF51 with it’s 130mm cannon.

125mm spalls down into your compartment and all 3 of my crew are in the turret, do the maths.

Brother use your eyes and read the original point was the f15A once again being moved down in br to handhold US players like it was before.

No one’s saying it’s more effective than su 27 now adays after both the multipath nerf and su27 buff.

That it should not ge the same br as the fulcrum was the original point.

as i said, 125mm cannon, the biggest one ingame, why are u surprised it has more spall damage? it’s like being surprised after facing T-62M-1 and watching it’s 115mm APFSDS due more spall damage than ur 10mm smaller Leopard 1A5’s cannon.

If we go by what the forum says, and zenturion, spall is generated by risudal penetration.

Which the 3BM60 loses quite a lot of compared to the M829A2 , DM53 and what not.

Oh, yeah the f15 going to 12.7 was retarded. I think everyone with a brain understands that.

F-15A was ok at 13.0, Su-27 should go to 13.3 due to how good it is, i believe i got an Ace one time in an uptier.

Maybe I should only go for hull ammo (though I can’t say it’s possible in every case). It seems like I almost always get into trouble by trying to take out its turret crew.

Also American teams at 10.3 - 12.0 at the moment have been awful from my experience, so it’s not really easy to get a fair fight with them in the first place 😅

su 33 needs to go to 13.3 first. 10 r27ers is just too much to be seeing in a 12.0 jet. Countermeasures is annoying but not the end of the world.

really? i feel it’s way more destructive than NATO APFSDS, but at least for me that’s quite hard to determine since no matter the APFSDS all of them just one shot everything if fired to weakspots.

The consistency in Top Tier is appalling.
As much as I like the gameplay, fuel tanks and ammo not detonating when they are suppose to is extremely infuriating

No wonder most top players just prefer to seal club at low tier / mid tier.

LITERALLY what mostly matters at toptier are COUNTERMESURES
48CM means u must run more chaff/flares than flares/chaff, which makes the plane extremely limited to be used especifically as a multipather (and even with that, it’s still not enough for 13.0).
also, Su-33 is heavier than Su-27 due to the canards and longer fuselage, which makes it worse for dogfights.

it can only carry 8 R-27ERs, 12 missiles in total.
