He’s not wrong in the sense that the MICA’s range is too short for a variety of reasons such as TVC wobble, high drag, lofting profile, and engine parameters.
All ARH are gimped (except the Fakour), but specifically the R-77 and MICA’s issues are about missing critical system that would enable them to work as they should.
So go bug report it.
Lawrence I have been playing the game since the CBT mate.
re read what I said, NATO kit is held back we havent even began to compare NERA armour and how a Leopard 2A7/M1A2 and even a CR2 are all but immune to Svinets. MICA is great but it is held back, reducing the range for balance is holding something back. Leaving Typhoon with a broken, bricked up Radar is holding something back.
DM-53 when everyone is moving to DM-73 and the US equivalent is holding NATO back when Russia do not have a tank that can use Vacuum-1 in game
Most tournies I have seen especially the 4 v 4 ban the Rafale and Typhoon and the Su-30.
So most teams are comprised of Su-27SM more missiles and the excellent R-27ER
MIrage 2000 for the MICA
If youre in this forum, which is funnily called “russian teams are steamrolling nato” lmao. And complain about rounds or missiles whilst Nato teams have the higher picks across all boards whilst also maintaing the higher winrate. Do you really expect anyone to think nato is being held back in game who even actually touches the game on a competitive level and knows each tank/jet’s weaknesses and strengths and define metas?
Im talking about mainly ground tourneys, but importantly Squadron battle 8v8s which is a combined arms. That includes some of the best toptier tanks and toptier jets at the start of the season
Even in air tourneys with alot of 13.7/14.0 lineup,
Up until now, the mica missile planes was the dominant jet. So the mirage from china n france.
They had to be removed to allow for balancing. The missile straight up caused team varieties to dip from different nation, and now the tourney/air esports is a mess
All missiles are extensively bug reported, and even you will probably have no issue figuring out why Gaijin won’t out of the blue go out of their way to give a lore accurate MICA to the Rafale in the current state of the game. Also take into consideration how some things are actually engine limitation rather than number tweaks. For example TVC wobble, and dynamic drag.
Anyway I was merely commenting on how delu he may be, the guy was not wrong about the MICA being nerfed.
I havent seen actual credible information on the mica range being nerfed, the missile also from size wise and other aspect is not a 100km range missile like the others, and can reach 50-60kms easily with the rafale’s performance at high altitude, which we all know is crazy good.
You miss the key thing in this discussion and thats…Teams
Russian Teams, not individual vehicles.
The collective Russian teams are demolishing NATO because of the strength of the combined loadout in ground battles.
Mainy from the aviation tree, Mi 28 with LMUR and 2 airframes with Kh-38 end games.
I have seen 3 Mi 28s in a game within 3 minutes and they each amassed 5 kills each with the LMURS.
That is how Russians are steamrolling not even the best tank in the game the Leopard 2A7 (variants) can withstand that.
If that doesn’t work the Russian tanks are within the top 3 best in game. In a controlled team environment with communications you want a tanks with high mobility, high rate of fire and the M1 is probably the best in that regard flat 5 second reload
MICA’s range is short becous of the battery life…
Additionally, just like how western people get critical of R-77s and their range being bad. I am equally skeptical about the mica range being decent beyond 50kms. And so far even in real life circumstances a nation recently using the rafales failed to fire them at a range of 100kms to defend themselves against a chiniese made jet.
Says alot about the mica EM. Its funny because that was spotted on the rafales being used in said country
Sorry, but No. That is gross exaggeration.
Yeah, btf, for tha last 3 days I havent played wt , but before that I played mainly US top tier ( i grind the AH-64E) and I haven’t experience any “steamrolling” from russian team… quite the opposite. The are games when I want to try the new LMUR on my Mi-28 end as a los or killed just after take of by a cap/ARH SAM
It’s more complicated than that,
those Pakistani aircraft had DL from Chinese EAWACS aircraft they had a longer range missile in the
PL-15E
Lol yeah same, ive been playing alot of toptier russia. Ive seen alot of eurofighter jets just clear the airspace against mi-28Nms and su30s causing us to the lose the matches straight up.
I can predict this months winrate to still be great for nato countries, whilst russia tries to reach up to 50th mark. Right now its at 49% and i feel that way too playing russia itself
So you would agree now that Russian teams are steamrolling because they can get more kills and have the best helicopter and CAS options?
Typhoon really suffers when you reduce the range it does not have a HOB, the Radar is still very temperamental and the 120 is trash down low. Yeah if the picture is clear and you have no aircraft Typhoon with Brimstones can be great. It lags behind the Rafale with AASM and the Kh-38
Along with this topic. The New SP changes have severely stopped the Kh-38 spam. You need just one of the nato toptier jets like rafale or eft and you can kill them once and not have to worry of them spawning with any of the kh38s again. Similarly for the Mi-28NM. The SP changes have saved the game from the cancerous damage that was doing of picking another jet and spamming the same loadout again.
Watch this guy, he just wiped out russian’s spaas and Mi-28NMs like they arent anything, whilst using brimstones. Pretty great that you can use a multirole loadout to be straight up dominant
Yeah Corb is an animal and using the German Typhoon means no IRIS-T to worry about
Sshh dont tell him about Corbs KH38 video
Gripen, Su-27SM/J-11B and Mirage 2000/J-10 are the current 4v4 meta
