Current in game screen shots. If you are using the LMUR missiles the same way as the SPIKEs, or PARS, then of course you will be getting similar results with them.
But there is no need to do that, with almost double the launch range, and more than 4 times the explosive mass there is no need to use them the same way.
When used to their strengths, the LMUR missiles are way more effective as your arent putting yourself in harms way as much, there by keeping you active in the fight for longer since you are launching from near the max range of the SPAA you are facing.
But you point makes no sence…
And i think im beginning to see why…
I really doubt that
More to show how jammed together they are unless of course Russian mains are only taking 8 rounds into a game?
Count the shell storage and look how close they are ammo should detonate but doesn’t
Don’t take full ammo is like the most basic advice given to every ground player.
Just because the autoloader takes 22 shells, doesn’t mean that you have to take 22 shells. In the same way that if you ammorack a Leclerc, and then keep pumping rounds in his autoloader, it won’t detonate again.
Taking a dozen round will leave the autoloader half empty, thus greatly increasing survivability.
Ok so that loader holds 22ish shells.
Most players will go in NATO tanks 17 shells with a couple of HE.
So your loader is essentially full as I said unless Russian mains take 10 shells the chances of hitting a shell or charge is pretty good.
As far as I’m concerned, I don’t really run T-XX tanks but when I do I always run full ammo and send my turret to orbit like a proper man, but typically I hear of 14 rounds in a T-tank, one in the breech plus 13 in the autoloader, that puts you at a little above 1/2 of hitting a round assuming equal repartition trough the autoloader.
In practice it means the entire left side of the tank is empty of ammo, and it’s only getting emptier as the game progresses.
Appreciate you trying to maintain the immersion!
Fair enough would still think spall should do something to the ammo within the loader
I’m afraid that the missile, LMUR Product 305 isn’t dedicated anti-tank weapon but rather multipurpose weapon, LMUR means “Лёгкая многоцелевая управляемая ракета”, which translates to “Light multipurpose guided missile”, one thing that I can’t understand is why Mi-28NM is equipped with eight but every source I could find states up to four or two missiles depending on the pylon configuration.
I don’t sidescrape, I don’t bait shots, I don’t do canon and barrel torture, I don’t optimize my loadout, I shoot first and if I miss, I die.
Joke aside, I went and checked, the T-80 autoloader holds 28 rounds while the T-72 holds 22.
Fair bit of empty space, and it depends on the turret position. Best target under the commander MG to maximize kill probability under any circumstance.
This is why I was against adding autoloaders as a module, it was a very predictable outcome.
The Leclerc and Type 10 pull proper nonsense as well nowadays with it, so in the end you win some you lose some, and it is what it is…
Then stop dying to russian tanks theyre worst tanks at top tier along with chinese ones
No sp for them = no su30/su34/mi28nm
Cherrypicked youtube content doesn’t really show proficiency, i’ll show you average spike experience
Russian tanks just tank rounds as seen in this video and anyone else who is facing them now.
and the effort to spawn this or the Mi-28 is too easy
Laugh in Challenger 2 lol
Yep Russian Relikt ERA is just that good…
rather be in challenger than in any russian tank
In the real world definitely, but not in game.
Funny that people still consider Buk-m3 as the best AA system in the game but it couldn’t even see that Su-30 and do anything.
All the new SAMS are pretty poor, they will get better.
Even the IRIS-T SLM suffers
