Seems quite likely to me.
posted an empty ammo rack, the self own is unreal
This “issue” has almost always been a massive skill issue. Right now if you are losing to russia, you are either bad or they just outplayed you. You cant chain spawn Su30 into SU34 anymore, america has the best heli in the game, plus russian tanks are still very bad. IF you are playing USA just force queue with germany and its literally auto win. I was playing top tier USA solo and stomping russia and german teams. Russia is significantly weaker now, Ive killed so many mi28s with brimstones its crazy, buk is a joke to fight with the euro, skill issues alround.
Its amusing people claim skill issues when others bring up the Russian bias in this game.
The Bias is clear to see in the numbers.
Russian AA has double, if not close to triple the range of any other AA in any other nation. And now with the Buk you get 3 vehicles but dont even need the main one like you do for other nations.
Russian Aircraft and helos just need to take off, spray FnF missiles, then immediately re-land without having to go anywhere near the range of other nations AA. The only thing capable of reliably countering Russian aircraft is Russian AA.
Gaijin repeatedly nerfs/uses weird data for other nations (like the average engagement time for the RDFLT and HSTVL for the fire rate instead of what the tank’s actual fire rate is) meanwhile immediate uses off the wall sources for Russian equipment without attempting to verify any of it.
I mean the skill issue part is true though no matter if it’s funny or not.
True, but Skill Issue or not, rn the “meta” is clearly the new fnf helis with IRCCM. Im confident gaijin will nerf them at some point but a good approach would be to reduce spawn cost for jets with anti air armament to 500ish sp, since ive countered cas planes and helis most reliably with my own air. Even so a good mi28 player (for example 6 LMUR , and 6 Vikhr loadout) can easily counter even jets, with the typhoons with brimstones being the only exception (speaking of my own experience in the mi28). I still firmly believe that adding fire and forget weaponry to aircraft and ground AAs was a bad idea and has made gameplay worse overall.
But yes, there is a big part of the community with a massive skill issue always ranting against russian vehicles which makes reasonable arguments look bad, the other day i had a 8 kill streak with the Roiivalk which is not a very good heli anymore (compared to the other ones) and people were complaining in chat about the supposed british p2w bias xD.
In the mean time for the aa players out there, move out of spawn and if you are saclos (better at fighting helis) hide behind a tall building and drive out to engage the helis, if you see they fired on you just retreat behind the building and wait for the atgms to slam into the building. Rince and repeat. Also dont hardlock with radar.
The point people often forget is that it does take skill to play most other nations, knowing where to aim, how to peek and angle, how to lock and launch air to ground weapons while actively dodging AAA, Ect, ect… Meanwhile Russian vehicles in the game are basically point and click.
Gaijin desperately needs to choose a side of the fence between what is realistic, and what is good for balance. Currently, Gaijin has “balanced” the everlovingsnot out of NATO nations and their vehicles, but has continued to not treat Russian vehicles the same.
Its true but skill issue is just as true for USSR teams as it is for the other majors. The big difference is whether the equipment available is easy to use for the skill issue crowd or not. And looking at Brimstone + PARS UHT vs KH38MT/ML + LMUR MI28NM its pretty clear whats easier to use effectively for the average player
Well after reading through the recent stuff on this thread I can confidently say that people only believe that their experience in the game is the correct one and everyone else who disagrees is wrong. I always see people pull stats saying the person with a differing opinion is “wrong”, but that defeats the point of discussions. People are going to have different opinions and it’s not right to completely discredit those opinions because they’re not good at the game. If you’re super good at the game, congratulations you do not speak for the majority of the playerbase, nor does someone who is bad at the game. If you respect opinions from other people then maybe this game can get changed for the better instead of every discussion devolving into chaos that gets them closed.
Kh38MT vs Brimstones - yeah agree… Kh require less skill
Kh38ML vs Brimstones - no, it is pritty much the same… same skill
LMUR vs PARS - the same, but the LMUR has a highter kill probability (in terms of use/skill, the’re the same)
Guess i must have missed the part where Brimstones have GNSS then?
So one top attacks, has higher TnT equiv., double the range and is on a platform with LDIRCM but people with similar skill will perform similarly?
yes
Spike
JAGM
PARS
LMUR
Same…
Phew im glad you added content creators which use specifically picked matches to make entertaining videos to proof your point, because otherwise someone might think that said point is…lets say its out there.
Also nice move to take SPIKE and PARS videos that are not even from the current update with the new AGMs
Well you moved the point from “skill to use” to “TnT equiv” and “range” so…
How does that change the targets set SPIKE and PARS are used against and they’re effectivness???
He specifically said LMUR Mi-28 the LMUR is significantly better both in travel time, ease and consistency of locking(PARS was also good when it was first added at lock consisteny) and kill chance than the PARS (partly due to the loft of the pars being incorrectly modeled). But you also need to consider the Mi-28 is a substantially better platform than the UHT in every sense (except maybe the camera placement which i personally like more on the UHT) flight model, anti aircraft capabilities (just the mi28 30mm cannon or a pilon of Vikhrs) compared to the lackluster atas missiles which is the UHTs only defence. Then comes flight performance, a Mi-28 warms up way quicker (faster climb) and is suprisingly similarly as maneuvrable as the UHT, also lets not forget the IRCCM the mi28 gets. Ive made my point. Yes a skilled player can do well in the UHT, but a skilled player can also do well in an allouette 3 at toptier, so that kind of point imo is invalid.
I mean that is true for some minor nations, but nations like Sweden, Germany, Italy and the US for example take about as much skill as playing the US.
Like seriously, if someone goes negative or barely even K/D in tanks like the Leopard 2A7s, Strv 122s, Abrams and T-80s than they should seriously rethink if top tier is something for them.
I agree, there are also enough bad russian mains with absolutely braindead takes.
If I see those I’ll also point them out.
I did not.
If you take 2 people of similar skill and one is in a platform thats just much more capable in every regard then that person is going to perform better despite not being more skilled. Therefore one is easier to use effectively
Evaluating their effectiveness without comparison is useless.
I’m confused…

Agreed except for the k/d part. In my opinion k/d is not a good way of seing someones impact on the match, think of all the support players out there (the few of them) that will scout enemy tanks, respawn aas till the cas thats been wiping out the entire team has been eliminated , decapping points when its needed, etc. I know ive had my fair share of games where I ended up with a negative or even k/d but still made a significant impact on the match. Id rather have a good teammate playing the objective than a braindead spawncamper with a good k/d that loses us the match.
But you also need to consider the Mi-28 is a substantially better platform than the UHT in every sense
Mi-28 excel only in terms of LDRCM and the chin mounted 30 mm cannon… mobility the UHT is way ahead due to been lighter
