Survivability is both:
- Taking hits and having them non pen you.
- Taking a penetrating hit and being able to flee or live and return fire.
In 80% of penetrating hits in Soviet tanks in game, 1 penetration and your dead
Vs everyone else it’s more 50/50
So you have little experience in the game in terms of what you’re referring to.
Meanwhile I’ve got almost top tier in every nation in everything except, China, and Israel strictly because I don’t want to play either.

Turmiii is busted though lol The amount of times I’ve had to aim underneath the magic book bags with APFSDS is insane shooting a t80 at a 90° angle in the side
Not if you have common sense and no where to aim. Western mbts have much more penetration, and can typically kill you from many more angles.

Even if you miss, you reload in 5.0 secs vs a T-80U, or bvms 6.5 sec reload (which should be 6.0 secs which it actually is.) or the T-72s with their terrible everything except armor.
I’d be a millionaire if I had a dime for everytime a round skipped off the floor plate instead of going through it, then piercing my ammo and killing me.
Like the floor plate is what 20-30mms on a Russian tank, and the round just went through a 100mm lower plate, and doesn’t have enough pen to go through the floor… sure… that’s not biased at all.
It’s been a while but I did have the t72turms-t on my Xbox account I played on when I didn’t have a computer available to me and that tank ate rounds granted this has been a long while ago

Good option would be the 10.3 T-80UD, but that too has its draw backs, still, it’s a better tank.

The only true thing Russia is competitive in, is Helicopters, thanks to Aim-120C, Russia has lost its competitiveness in air, but the western pilots who fly high continue to get shot down due to their own poor tactics.
In naval, USA is the best all rounder and Japan is better than Russia. Germany has spots where it’s better and worse.
not really, the ammo carosuel is really unreliable with ammo detonations, and even if you get the autoloader it cant return fire, especially in the case of the leo and abrams which have the nerfed turret ring, meaning return fire is never possible
No, it has a T-72 drivetrain. No thermals, just the T-80U body / turret.

I bet to differ I can still kill in an abrams with a stuck turret, T series on the other hand, the breech is often blown out with the auto loader. Or at the least the the loader is broken on roof hits.
There is cases where your dart flys through the loaders empty compartments doing no damage as it should, or, you get hit by one tiny bit of spall and the whole thing breaks. Then you have a 26 sec repair at ace crew if I recall correctly.
Any time I have hit T series ammo they explode, and often, but not always even merely hitting fuel makes the tank explode.
