Russian Teams Steamrolling NATO - Top Tier is Broken Again?

Only if they get to spawn CAS

what? when it shows Russia dominating its the bible and when it doesn’t shows Russia dominating its propaganda?

After playing this game since 2014, I’m calling it quits today; I’m sick of watching it turn into a propaganda machine for the Russian narrative of being a global superpower.

Playing top-tier with any nation other than Russia completely defeats the purpose of playing for fun—it’s nothing but suffering.

Russia absolutely dominates on the ground and in the air; the latest vehicles the Russian side receives ruin the gameplay experience—not to mention balance, which ceases to exist when they add the Pantsir-S1 and then its even more broken successor, the Pantsir-SM. Its missiles reach their targets in a split second; the speed is absurd—a missile covers a 20km distance in just 4 seconds.

Russia gets weaponry for its Su-series aircraft that isn’t even in the Russian army’s actual inventory and exists only on paper.

Russia receives air defense systems—starting with the Pantsir-S1, BUK, and Pantsir-SM—that easily destroy the new Apaches. These Apaches were supposed to mirror the new Mi-28s, which have a missile protection system; the problem is that while this system fails against Pantsirs and BUKs, it works perfectly against all new NATO air defense batteries. The Mi-28 is practically indestructible in the air against modern NATO air defense systems, whereas the Russian side can destroy a new Apache in a split second. LMUR missiles destroy practically anything they hit, while an American helicopter often needs 2 or 3 missiles to destroy a Russian tank. The Pantsir-SM can single-handedly defend an entire team, whereas NATO systems struggle to defend against even a single Su-33 in the air—let alone actually hit the target, since the American versions often can’t even score a hit on one plane; their radars constantly lose track of targets, and out of ten missiles fired, they usually score zero hits.

Top-tier gameplay plays out the same way almost every time: you get killed by LMURs or Kh-38s launched from the airfield. I won’t even bother mentioning the BMPT—when it’s hiding behind cover with only its turret exposed, it’s “indestructible,” and it can repair both its cannons in just eight seconds.

This game used to be fun, but now it has become a political tool for spreading Russian propaganda about being a superior global power.

Ok bye.

E-100 and Panther II Ostwind II and R400 was never build that’s all, Other machines were built and combat-tested, only to be withdrawn due to dissatisfaction among superiors and commanders So your attempt to pick a fight is pathetic.

For like the Gajillionth time, M829A3 was built with double-layer ERA in mind. The US had a patent down for a Relikt-type ERA in 1992, and a patent for how to defeat it in 2000. There’s enough public proof about it.

While M829A3 wasn’t specifically designed against Relikt’s specifications because the exact specifications weren’t known at the time, it is still designed against Relikt’s general design.

If that’s true I think my memo was lost somewhere along the way.

Unless this is also considered “getting crushed”

The match as a whole isn’t just about the stats of your single vehicle, because, after all, we end up getting wiped off the map by Mi-28s or Su-30s/33s.

Riiiiight…

  • The Radkampfwagen was famously combat-tested during Desert Storm.
  • The Leopard 2K took part in the Vietnam war.
  • T95E1 went and saw action in Korea.
  • Begleitpanzer went to Kosovo.
  • PT-16/T14 was deployed during the Cuban missile crisis.
  • Etc.

I’m sure your alternate reality in which all of those machines were ‘‘combat tested’’ is quite an eventful one.

Kidding aside, that’s just nonsense.
None of those machines were ‘‘Combat tested’’ and most of them never made it past the prototype stage, some of which weren’t even functional vehicles in the manner we see them in War Thunder. Others are given quite a lot of leeway in how their components function.

I’m merely pointing out your double-standards.

Russia has prototype equipment? Bad.
NATO has prototype equipment? Totally fine.

Well clearly I don’t get wiped out by that CAS nearly as much since I have a 75% WR in my SEPv3.

Winning as the US at top tier is super easy at the moment. Smash Russian ground teams hard with your superior MBTs (Abrams) so that they can’t spawn in their OP CAS.

I know you’re a loyal fan of Mother Russia and will do anything to defend your favorite nation in the game, but you’re overlooking a key point: these machines don’t upset game balance, and finding documentation for them was never an issue—unlike with the KH38MT.

You’re trying to hit me with arguments about top-tier balance issues by citing the addition of a WWII-era vehicle—one that, like the Panther II, is no longer obtainable because it was removed from the tech tree for other players.

So, do we only care about documentation when it suits us?

Right, because we all have the exact same battles as you, and the problem I’m writing about is something I just made up and doesn’t actually exist—so I suppose the other players complaining about the same thing are just making up fairy tales for kids?

Well I’m not the only one with high winrates in their new Abrams, even people like in this thread have reported the same. Hell the SEPv3 has an overall winrate of just over 60% on statshark, that is wild.

Skill issue often influences opinions, which I suspect to be the case with you.

That must be why the M1A1 Abrams is my #1 most played vehicle of all time, right?

Must also be why I’ve got nearly 4000 kills in various M1’s combined.

It’s easier to simply dismiss anyone who disagrees with you as being a fanboy of a certain nation, than it is to actually address any of the arguments laid against you.

Kpz-70 and MBT-70 never upset the game’s balance? I’ve now heard it all, folks.
TURM III was never problematic for it’s BR? M’kay.
XM-1 Chrysler isn’t curbstomping everything at 9.0 right now? Alrighty.
Leopard 2K wasn’t an absolute menace on introduction? Sure.
Etc.

You say that, hoping I won’t question it.

Surely you’ve got good documentation that shows how the Radkampfwagen performed during trails, as well as it’s overall characteristics and data.

If twenty people claim the Earth is flat, does that magically make it so?

Statshark keeps track of the overall data set, that’s why it has hundreds of thousands of battles on record for any given top-tier tank. It’s data is infinitely more trustworthy than your personal beliefs are on the matter, or the beliefs of (low-skill) players that often haven’t even played Russia themselves and simply think ‘‘Grass is always greener on the other side’’.

Just because you don’t like the data doesn’t mean it’s not true.

is this you?

it was a full prototype

See you again tomorrow

So, it wasn’t designed for specifically relikt

Last name is mine, but its not my profile.

Edit. Wait, that’s not even my username; the one you’re showing has “downtier” at the end.

really then what’s your profile? because there is no one with your name, any proof you play since 2014?
