Russian Teams Steamrolling NATO - Top Tier is Broken Again?

it works as intended, gaijin devs are russians

F-22 and F-35 are totally different machines for totally different jobs. It isn’t an either/or equation.

That’s like saying ‘why spend money on a fork when I can spend it on a hacksaw instead?’

Because for some jobs you need a fork.

Also calling the F35 overpriced while comparing it to the F22 is crazy.

why do these topics always devolve to random shit

Alright I have to kinda go now. we were discussing aps and ended up talking about F-35. Everyone in the forum have a good one.

Well in this case because the premise of the thread isnt true rn.

And also because at the end of the day most of these topics boil down to discussions about equipment in some form.

the same stuf as everywhere else. Nobody cares what cost the us tax payer more to develop and what costs more

Youre right, no one cares what things cost but that was also not the point. The point was that the initial claim of “nations bying into incredibly expensive weapons systems that are not worth, hint (F-35, Grippen).” Is a dumb statement made even dumber by the comparison to an even more expensive weapon system.

Those who have low level crew and no premium time.

And those not playing meta vehicles.

Aka. a very specific list of mbts or temporarily op other vehicles

Trophy was updated to also counter drones quite recently tho (2025). Also the Iron Fist.

Iron Fist can intercept drones in-game

Interesting.

Also if im not mistaken trophy was coded to also intercept FPV drones in the datamines for infantry mode??

Edit: yes

This one?? hope you know not all merkava 4 in the IDF are equipped with APS, and sometimes they using merkavas 3. If not an APC.

Probably. Not the source I found it from though.

Sure, but this one was.

The first Merkava Barak have been handed over to the 52nd “Ha-Bok’im” (the Breachers) Armoured Battalion, one of the three such units forming the 401st “Ikvot HaBarzel” (Iron Tracks) Brigade together with a armoured engineer battalion a reconnaissance and a signal company.

We know the names and roles of the dead, I don’t think an IFV / APC needs Gunner and Loader positions, nor has 4 crew(or that some sort of ATGM that causes secondary detonations wouldn’t harm embarked squads as well). Or that the senior Commanders would be rolling around in them when they are actively performing their duties.

Also in the originally linked article that specified that an MBT was hit.

“The incident occurred near Kfar Tebnit in the Nabatieh area. Around 12:20 a.m., a “suspicious target” struck a tank belonging to 52nd Battalion troops operating under the Givati Brigade combat team. The military has not yet determined what hit the tank, but has ruled out an accident or malfunction and determined it was an external strike, either by a drone or an anti-tank missile.”

Biased much? Literally looking at your own graph, it shows that they are middle ground at best.

There videos of Merkava Mk.4 with Trophy APS equipped being knocked out by a simple RPG-7…

Like dude, who are you trying to fool?

Trophy works intermittently at best

Never seen one, all I saw its cut videos and tanks turned off. If every footage from hezbolla and hamas that claims they destroyed a tank, the IDF would not have tanks

Feel free to DM them

German MoD trials attested an over 90% successful interception rate, id call that more than intermittently.
