Most irrevelant reply to our debate…
Nuh-uh
I understand you jump into conclusions before reading the entire debate but its not helpful.
i mean your just straight up wrong on this. Abrams reload is 6.5 seconds base and t-80s and t90s are 6… even if you were right though it wouldnt matter bc a .2 second faster reload isnt gonna save you when your round just gets eaten by volumetric and era hell. Super unconvincing argument bro… gotta work on it
???
The T-90s have a flat 7 second reload. And the T-80BVM has a 6.4 second reload if it wants to use 3BM60.
Something something pot something something kettle?
People not experting their crews is not a fault of the tank.

If you don’t expert your tank, that’s 100% on you.
it’s like taking DM33 over DM53 cause you don’t like how the number “53” looks
This spot is more deadly in the hands of a bmpt no?
Speaking of taking worse darts, I see people in like videos have the main dart but then carry a few rounds of a worse dart. Is there a reason why? Like I’ll see someone in a T-80BVM have 3BM60 and a few rounds of 3BM42. I get if it’s a HE or something tho
Don’t know why people would do that in most tanks, but the T-80BVM has a longer reload with 3BM60 than with 3BM42.
I’ll rephrase it into being truth.
You fighting T-series, including BMP-T, is the lowest success chance gamble you can get than fighting any other vehicle in the entire game. Not only it depends on your skill and reaction time, but ping, mood of the server and general latency.
You guys love this argument so much even though it wasn’t introduced by your side, that’s actually a rather flimsy cope for NATO mains.
Japanese MBTs and maybe Merks are the only high skill floor - high skill ceiling MBTs in top tier.
Like for the love of god what can Abrams do that T-series can’t? Peak the hills? Just to get his breach and sometimes ammo storage turned into a pile of rusty dust? Well in that case T-series win here again. Yea, they wouldn’t be able to peek in a couple of spots that Abrams can, but where they can peek - they win due to much-much-much-much less consistent breach/gun damage model or whatever it is that prevents them from dying. Low reverse? Then play on the edge or wiggle your turret a little - it doesn’t work for an Abrams, but surely does for every T with ERA around the gun area. What else? Where else can Abrams excel that T trashcank can’t? I’m all ears and really curious.
reload
3BM60 has 6.4s reload.
3BM42 has 6s reload
for the abrams it’s so you have more apfsds loaded in case of an ammo blowout
reload fast, be mobile, gun handling, actual good gun, it’s simply better in every relevant metric. The abrams gives you infinitely more freedom of movement, it punishes you more for playing bad but rewards you more for playing like someone with a functioning brain.
abrams wins vs BMPT in almost every engagement.
Same with leopard 2 and merkava for example
-1 crew member = difference mitigated and that will happen really fast. What? You’re not supposed to be shot in the first place? T trashcank wins again by size difference. Harder to spot - harder to shoot.
Irrelevant? T trashcanks are by no means slow or immobile. “But, muh, reverse?” you say? Just turn around god damn it, it’s not a ww2 tank after all. On top of that.
SEP V2

BVM

I don’t see clear mobility superiority?
BVM

SEP V2

Whaat? BVMs gun handling is better? How could it be, huh? For the love of god, man.
Did they introduce gun failure and RNG potato spread while I was sleeping? I don’t think so. Irrelevant.
Or maybe you were talking about rounds? If so - irrelevant again. How often does BVM has to shoot other BVMs? Like once every 100-200 matches or so? In every other case the difference of 49mm of pen DOES NOT MATTER. You know why? Because it’s not shooting through magic pen eating ERA. The weakspots doesn’t change at all, post pen damage doesn’t change at all. You penetrate where you could penetrate before and can’t penetrate where you couldn’t. By far not a game changer in any meaning.
Call me again when you will witness Abrams suddenly start moving by Z axis. We might want to notify US government about that one.
Like really? How often you do something other than peek with that reverse speed? Reaction times and map layouts at top tier never let reverse speed be such a giant advantage.
But I give you that. Yea, for now T-rashcanks have worse reverse speed. Not crippling immobility, not movement restricting shackle-hurdle, but just worse reverse speed that can be easily accounted for, especially if you’re somewhat better than just W autoclicker.
Ah, another hit to low skill ceiling? My…
I.E. - it’s just harder and more bothersome to play.
Got it, thanks. Kinda the point of the whole “russian bias” thing though?
Let’s not bunch up and oversimplify things for the sake of propagandizing something. You might as well use a speech bubble gif at this point.
I’m sorry if I might seem a little bit hostile it’s nothing personal. I’m just tired of listening to the same dead arguments over and over, over and over again. They’re not true or just not that big of a deal IN. THE. GAME. And the game is what we’re talking about here.
less crew to sacrifice, abrams wins on survivability
reverse is important.
you’re stupid if you seriously think that’s not detrimental to a tank’s mobility.
abrams has the second best top tier round in the game with 5s reload, giving it the best firepower in the game.
That coupled with the best ammo layout out of all top tier MBTs in the game as well.
I seriously shouldn’t have to explain how incredibly restrictive bad reverse, bad depression and bad reload are for an MBT should I.
the reverse gear cripples them.
no, it just has a higher skill floor + higher skill ceiling.
Just because something has a lower skill floor does it mean it’s actually better.
you lack a critical understanding of what makes an MBT good or bad.
I suggest learning how to do that
In the presented video we see:
1)a W autoclicker pushing where he shouldn’t be
2)Autoclicker missing his ATGM
2)A skilled abrams player failing to kill it in 1 shot - I.E. punish him for the dumb action.
3)Abrams player failing to kill him with a second shot. Furthermore not even doing any damage. A peed on driver isn’t damage.
4)Finally, on a third shot he died. Skill? Luck? We don’t really know.
And where? Where it is by any means a WIN and an argument? What other vehicle can survive that long in the same circumstances? And what if he wasn’t alone by the way? Alone behind the enemy lines? I’ll tell you. He wouldn’ve repaired and continued being a major pain in the ass for your team. Maybe not for you, but you’re not playing 1v1 and not everyone is playing Abrams.
I did punish him, I shot out his FCS which meant I could just push him freely. He is unable to fire back, notice how you do not hear his autocannon firing anymore
whiff, BMPT still crippled.
it’s called aiming.
I one shot T-series 70-90% of the time when I can see their hulls. So if those are supposedly “lowest success chance gambles” that means my luck must be through the roof and I should buy a lottery ticket.
Depending on the T-series variant? The Abrams is a better flanker, arguably equal or even better brawler and can cause much more chaos in the backline than any T-series can dream of.
If you fall for that than I can only say skill issue.
That is only a reliable tactic in the T-90s.
I am focusing around the abrams for two reasons:
- People love to cope that it’s a bad tank cause “muh turret ring”, it’s not a bad tank, it’s one of the top two MBTs in the game.
- To avoid generalisation of “anything in NATO” vs just Russia
That’s not an argument you could openly make. Due to how RNG-like all has become.
On top of that by breech shots - abrams loses.
By hull shots - Abrams loses again.
TBH I don’t really remember having any trouble dealing with Abramses. Weakspots are so huge and every pen is guaranteed to take out his return fire ability.
In the game - not so much. By far not detrimental, lol. Can’t get out of shit? Don’t push the shit for everything’s sake.
In every other situation just turn around and leave, which Trashcank’s mobility more than allows.
5s reload buff they got only recently and it’s a nice thing to have indeed, by far the biggest game changer in this entire argument. Would 1 more second of reload hurdle you in that BMPT engagement though? Maybe you wouldn’t be able to make that second shot, but it did no damage so doesn’t really matter, lol.
Best layout? The one that can be taken out by BMPT at 2000m with a side shot?
Like yea - he wouldn’t die if you destroy it IF he’s carrying only APFSDS. But how long it would take him, if he would be able to do it at all, to replenish his ammo and get back into battle? I’m sorry - I’d prefer RNG gunpowder wheel, at least if it’s taken out (key word is IF) - I will just spawn again instead of judging wheter I should go on a quest to get some ammo or just J out.
You should, also taking into account everything that every respective vehicle is playing against, because it does matter a lot.
By the way an advantage of being smaller is a big deal. Or it isn’t? What do you think? For me it well accounts for the whole bad reverse and bad depression thing. Because you can go further and expose less.
By far not true. Comfortable to be a bush rat and being a good MBT are different things by the way. IN. THE. GAME. by the way. And the game is what we’re talking about.
Idk, maybe you should learn to hear yourself as well then?
Because the only argument you had was - “Uh, reverse speed, OH, reverse speed, MUH - guess what? Right. Reverse speed”
Not happening lil guy

With a wall right here I am talking
