Those missiles weren’t built for anti-aircraft purposes, also they dont care about flares nor chaff, I destroyed countless helicopters while using KH-38 and mavericks despite their best effort to flare/chaff them.
The only way to effectively defeat them is to use LDIRCM in this game.
Sure, as soon as SPAA systems recieves same amount of sp cost I will support this idea fully.
High risk high reward for both side.
At that point the rewards for SPAA would have to be upped too, since there is almost no reward for playing AA.
You just sit around for X minutes to hope for a couple of kills (rewards for shooting down missiles are so low it’s not even worth mentioning). Meanwhile top tier CAS can have between 1-6+ kills in a single run alone.
Oh yeah definitely, not just rewards but most SPAA systems should recieve rework on their missile/radar performance as well.
Seeing how Pantsir’s little hypersonic missile outperforms ASTER-30 at 30km makes me puke tbh.
Also lower MP so spaa systems that relies on ARH missiles can perform better.

Gaijin don’t care, they don’t show it either (thus no communication from devs ever), but I was told that internally most of them genuinely do hate “the West”, hence why a lot of modern Russian platforms are vastly overperforming, and most NATO ones vastly underperforming. There is in fact, bias.

I smell heavy inferior complex which explains why Leopards/Abrams and many other nato vehicles are in their current situation.

Their “HQ in Hungary” is also just a shell company for tax purposes, this game is full on Russian Bias/propaganda, and yes, they do hate China as well. Even when they were paying their employees, they were using a different shell company every month lol.
Honestly if only you knew, fun fact: if you see a lot of bug reports get outright denied or never looked at, it is because Gaijin has currently restricted actual TMs from reviewing them, because of a certain past employee (you can look his case up on reddit, it is very recent) :P

modern smokes usually have chaff integrated, so i don’t see it being a problem

giving them IR seekers would make them too strong due to missile quantity, nerfing the quantity is something gaijin would never do and more realistic seekers involves new game mechanics.

Brimstone missile platform doesnt have IR guidance.
It either uses MMW or SAL mode.

Not everyone has the skill level of esports players, just using them as example of a vehicle’s strength is counting only the upper limit of capabilities without considering factors that matter for players whit less experience and skill, i.e. Armor, tho its true that the bvm is at most the third best mbt as the leoa7, the abrams, but it doesnt make it bad
Brimstones are F&F missiles, thats why it has MMW mode in real life.
Unlike ir mode it doesnt get affected by smoke (unless you’re using spectral smoke) nor LDIRCM.

most maps in this game are CQC hellholes, the exact scenario in which good reload + reverse matter.
