That statement only works when you have more than one qualities such as mobility,ROF and fire power while top tier T-Series does none of them.
The T-Series tanks have no standout features in this regard so they have to rely on their armor more than any other tank at top tier.

There are more than enough modern sources about M1/Leo2 armor improvements in this regard, just because you don’t read or find those documents doesn’t mean they don’t exists.
We do have, especially on Leo2, as for the M1 family their exact values are not as common as Leo2 but they still have more than enough information to be modelled accurately enough.
Just like Russian tanks.

Yes they are! Thats the thing: everything is modelled by textbook, and not “India shot t-80U plate with leclerc so we see it pens”. And most modern tanks are straight up fantasy, both USSR and US, based on older models of same techs.

I dont think so tho. 10.0-10.7 lineups of tanks are straight up garbage, they are outdated at the very least.Thy they are still playable without using OP air support, that just doesnt bringany joy. And then later on 11.3-12.7 tanks are just garbage as well, but now they meet such strong opponents that you cant work without OP CAS anymore

The fragmentation hit was invalid. Your shells must precisely land in “some part” of the Russian tank. In summary, this is your problem

You need to educate yourself on how the survivability trait of the crew of the tank works. You sound like one who just bought premium and doesnt understand how the game works. Same can happen even earlier during the game, with APHE explosions for example. Or with solid shots hitting the ammo rack. This guy basically had a single shot left xD
