It depends. Vs tanks, LMUR is more effective. But when facing SPAA or lighter targets the JAGM’s extra count is superior.
Lmur is great for mbt
179 is great for light targets and sams.
Each has weak and strong side.
Its just the way it is.
I dont know about that especially for SPAA
because you are more likely to get a missile through, but to do that you need to be exposed for longer because both can launch their missiles at the same rate
and even if you do get a missile through it is much less likely to kill the AA
except LMUR is better for SAMs too, because it will actually kill them where JAGM often wont due to all the empty space
with LMUR you can just bring a pylon of rockets or vickhrs and launch them into the air once you fire a LMUR at them to keep any SAMs from intercepting
Against most SPAA like IR/ARH you can expose yourself for longer, ofc vs SACLOS you can’t, but in most cases the count makes it far easier to take them out.
And most of the times 179 will kill the AA in question. If it somehow doesn’t, hes entirely crippled.

Watched every replay of every match there was one in my game.
So this just happened. I elected to play 10.3 US to try and grind the 120S (which I have neglected for a while, I have M829 on it) and both matches I played were full uptiers to 11.3. I checked the second battle and found something pretty interesting. 7/16 players on the enemy team were 11.0+ (All russian team) while only 2 players on my team were 11.0+, the vast majority being 10.7. What if it’s not just the BMPT/11.0 russian vehicle spam, but also how the matchmaker works? I’d say it’s pretty unfair to fight nearly 1/2 of a team that’s either 0.7 or a full BR higher than you.
I’ll have to play a few more matches to see if it disproportionately affects Russian teams.
I don’t think there are any limitations regarding that apart the “max of 4 people of the max BR per team”.

I think I have a 60 or high 50 win rate in my ariete AMV and 2a7hu, the ariete especially isn’t a easy stock grind.
I don’t think stats really are that big of an impact on how a player is (mainly because my stats suck because my top vehicles are all things a played a bunch when I sucked at the game long ago). But like 30 and 40 winrate in a T-72 is wild 💀💀💀

You got like 16 of the 179. It is def better for SAM.
A massive cope then. It require set up to stay in the air long in order to kill a SAM while the 179 can spam until a SPAA is dead. Also not mentioning the time require to keep a lock long enough for the Vickh to hit the SPAA , during that time another SPAA would have shot down your ass
Really dont understand the mentally of trying your best to make the LMUR the best for all possible scenario. Sure it is strong but trying to make the 179 look like a water pistol against it is just fucking pathetic

That factually doesnt change anything, as “russian bias” is usually “i cant now spam AGM65 without thinking” or “i cant shoot it anywhere to pen it” :/
And at the message you answered, he exactly spoke of the “crew” talents which isnt in fact an advantage for USSR top tier.
We may have seen different videos, but i dont see much fatal explosions happening with it tho.

Try doing it and see what will happen… I will give you a hint - enemy SAMs will intercept your missiles (maybe not all but most of them) and you aswell.
