The IS-7 is absolutely not cannon fodder. It’s one of the easiest 8.3 tanks to play.
Sorry but that is 100% false. You really have to play the IS-7 to feel how stupidly easy it is.
Top tier against Russia is absolutely unplayable, winrate about 10% and that is playing as a Japan/british main. There are countless broken fake propaganda Russian vehicles, T72, T80, BMPT, T90, and worst of it is that alot of them are premium. No skill-set needed, just waves and waves of p2w mentality people jumping in a T72 Arena, BMPT-72 or T80U anime variant non-sense. There is currently no legimate way to enjoy 10.7-12.7, except paying Gaijin €70 for fake Russian technology.

It does seem like top tier is a real struggle for none Russian countries, even when you are winning only Russia, France and maybe Sweden have the force multiplier that is Russian CAS
Su-30s with Kh-38 just decimate teams and then you have LMURs and even BMP-Ts at top tier are a real pain.
So you’re absolutely sure they don’t require any skill after playing exactly zero games with higher tier T-tanks, good to know.
Also, Arena and T-80-UE-1 are far from being broken.

Well, not all the time, rather when I see it.
I never played it at 8.3 but from my experience with it i’d say it was probably fine at 8.3. It had good stats because nobody inexperienced bought it, and thus it went up. Its more of a sidegrade to T-55A. Better APHE, KPVT, but significantly worse armor.

Minor nations’ premiums performing better might suggest that a lot of experienced players are grinding minor nations with premiums to simply storm past all the copypaste.
I started grinding China a week or so ago, and I wish I had Al-Khalid to do the same thing with basically all of China under 8.7 due to excess of boring, copypaste vehicles acting as a filler.

i will secede the exelcior it is far superior to the KV-1 variants and very undertiered, however the ZIS-5 gun is god tier and will always beat a QF 75mm until it gets its rightful TNT filler to M61 or the pzgr composite shell
better armour and comet mobility, it should be 4.7.
We filled the explosive cavity with concrete, as APHE in reality didnt do much at all (APHE if it was modelled accurate would have no noticable improvement over solid shot until you get to stupid big bores).
we saw it as a waste of good explosive.
it does 30mph, as a heavy tank, pretty much everywhere.
only the hull MG against the zis-5. only things that make it worried is another undertiered tank, PZ IV with the long 75mm

I wouldn’t say that. The tank is just incredibly forgiving and has a incredibly low skill floor, so its easy for noobs to do well, which is most of Fuji players.
The extreme ROF and good mobility give it the lowest skill floor of the BR (bar BMPT) true.

Nothing else seems to kill me frontally unless it’s a Pz.4 or vk 30 (cheat tank)
plus youre playing britain. Solid cluster of your team will be competent and other than in a full uptier against italy, there is a zero chance of seeing a 17pdr, which would have demolished you without a second thought.
the PZ IVH&J should be 4.3 not 3.7 and the VK30 and panther D should be 5.7. those guns on those platforms it too OP for such low BRs. Germany eats good from having such trash players dragging things into low BRs
I dunno about the Brit players. I got matched with USA and the French most games. I pretty much was the only one with a positive KDr most matches.
And yes, that’s why I bumped those tanks in my list of proposed brs.
