Just for the record, the screenshots themself are from the Community Development Kits’ (CDK) Assetviewer thus not datamined per se as its an official tool provided by gaijin.
Technically speaking, you can also use nvidia ansel (which some of the pictures were made with btw) to look inside the vehicle ingame to see armour values and types (just that its really and I mean really annoying to get that thing to actually show armour-info).
However, for checking whether a plate actually creates spall and to check how thick a specific plate is/what exact armour type it uses, datamined values are ofc much more convenient and imo just as, if not more reliable (datamines are literally our changelogs atp).
Nevertheless, they’re still not visible though “normal means” and not available to any player Independent from their their platform and thus reasonable to be considered as hidden.
(e.g. console players cant use the CDK, AMD or Intel GPU users cant use nvidia ansel etc.)
I appreciate the breakdown. Regardless, gaijin is dpong something that is INCREDIBLY deceptive and they’re gaslighting a huge chunk of their player base.
Ok let me rephrase: Cant really complain about anything NATO if the stuff they get is so terrible that youd rather pity them than complain
Its not like anyone is complaining about the Mig29
exactly… russians ger yet another pantsir they still have op 38’s missiles they have properly implemented LMURS while nato still has bad flight model of hellfires/jagms… half their possibilities are nerfed because of “balance”
