Yup, it shouldn’t disrupt APFSDS rods. It’s thick and strong, but no more than equivalent of 100 mm of steel.

It definitely does, but only at angles. At a flat angle, it should not be effective against APFSDS.

i could agree but with certain specifications, since i feel Russia doesn’t deserve anything else since their rank 7 tanks already perform very well at rank 8 (2S25M, BMPT, Object 292), but i would like to have more rank 8 tanks for my lineups since carrying rank 7 tanks feels a bit “odd”.

skill issue, there’s plenty of flat maps in WT to favor russian tanks and if u get into a situation where u can’t shoot cuz u don’t have enough depression, then it’s ur fault for not trying to get a flat spot where to shoot at ur enemy.

ok then make all NATO tanks which are manually loaded have a 15secs reload so russian tanks actually can do something to their “very well armored” tanks (cof cof turret basket cof cof).

pretty sure ur 120mm smooth-bore rheinmetall DM53 APFSDS doesn’t get absorbed by a side-Relikt that often.

Its not a 1 in a 200 thing its a 1 in a 10 Situation, its More often than you think, specially because you dont have enough playtime to really notice It, It does make a difference, hence why there was a fight to match the reloads of russian and nato tanks, a bkan 1c Will outreload a type 10 a type 10 Will outreload a cv90105 a cv90105 Will outreload a experted m1 abrams and so on, every tiny part counts, the average reaction time for anyone its 0.25 seconds, and It often makes a difference every tiny decimal

Corrected, thanks for the advice. But still, Ru tanks don´t need a buff, need their modernizations. Ofc if their damage model it´s consistent.
First of all, it’s a somewhat dated tank and can’t compete in the long run. Secondly, what’s the ammunition? It doesn’t have anti-aircraft rounds, even though it can use all standard NATO ammunition, although I don’t see a DM-11.
Not to mention the fact that the war kit was designed to block APFSDS, but they put it there for defense against chemical munitions, which is a precision that apparently gaijin doesn’t care about.
And I don’t think it’s ever fired a DM-53.
