Yes, and how does discussing it beeing fake or real help the case ?
Not even the post creator talked about in the initial post.
It’s in the game and it wont go away.
Just talk about it’s balancing issues then if you don’t want people not beeing your opinion of it beeing fake or not.
Because it goes to the heart of what the game is supposed to be.
The game is marketed as being realistic:
“The appearance and characteristics of the vehicles in War Thunder are historically accurate, and their damage models are physically based.“
You have countless examples of weapons being denied because of the “rules”.
Then you have the kh-38MT. No evidence it ever actually existed in direct contradiction of the rules gaijin purports to uphold. The weapon dramatically unbalanced top tier for a long time and then players find out it’s fake and overperforming its own marketing brochure to an extent that would make Pravda blush.
Combine that with the frustration based gameplay gaijin employs and It’s not surprising it keeps coming up, and it will continue to do so until the issue is actually addressed.
It’s a double standard people can point to. Refusing to address the issue is on gaijin.
I understand what you are saying.
But stop complaining about people bringing up whatever they believe is evidence, when you keep bringing it up everytime lol.
It’s part of the debate process. You don’t have to engage with it.
It coming up all the time is exactly what I was talking about. It’s a double standard and destroyed top tier balance. of course it’s going to keep coming up. It’s inevitable.
I am not, i am saying that that is the main reason these threads keep derailing. Because debating whether its real or not is not part of the thread. You can read the word “fake” and not engage with it by posting brochures.
You’re basically asking people not to discuss it at all. Using accurate words isn’t a bad thing.
Is this wording more to your liking?
The ostensible existence of the Kh-38MT missile remains profoundly dubious, its provenance shrouded in a miasma of conjecture and unsubstantiated assertion. In the conspicuous absence of corroborative empirical data, technical documentation, or credible evidentiary substantiation, continued acknowledgment of this putative munition constitutes a disservice to both scholarly rigor and epistemological integrity. Accordingly, it is incumbent upon any curator of military historiography or aeronautical armament taxonomy to expunge this apocryphal artefact from the corpus of recognised weaponry with all due deliberation and decorum.
Im not complaining that people talk about it, im complaining that calling it fake immediately prompts some loser to throw the brochure in your face when that discussion is not part of the thread.
Being correctly descriptive is not baiting. If i say: the fake KH38MT is broken. They can just say: the very real KH38MT is not. Its literally more work to pull up the screenshots
AKA a media suppression tactic, that sees public discourse silenced over claims that it’s so ridiculous to disagree that said party must be delusional or misinforming
