Guys I would like to remind everyone that you’re to debate the topic not the user if you want to move it to DM’s if not leave each other alone !
Why did you delete this ? We are not attacking each other personally.
The whole discussion what was off topic / involving real world press is being removed. If your comment had nothing to do with it then it’ll be re-instated. If you have a problem with it then you can message any of us and we can look into it but we don’t discuss it on threads.
Some people were hence why I said Guys not you !
great so lets go back to the initial question: is top tier broken?

shit certainly doesnt look balanced
You can go a few months back and see how poorly Russia was performing before LMUR and the broken LDRICM update. Now with IRIS-T being nerfed to 4 km lock range we might see Russia reach 60% winrate now that Su-30 and Kh-38 spammers have nothing to worry about lmao.
We can stop arguing about that dude
Its a probably fake missile that has no information whether it was ever used on the planes we have in game and even if its real and was used on said planes its vastly overperforming over what its actual capabilities would be.
In any case it has no business being implemented in the way it is rn
Most of our air-to-ground weapons fall under this category.
Mhm for sure they do. Brimstones especially
and spikes, and PARS…
It was added because Sweden tested the T-80U. They could have as easily added a M1A2 or a Leclerc for the squadron vehicle but they didn’t. Same thing with the Swedish high tier helis. They were tested not adopted. No one is arguing the existence of these vehicles. There is at least the justification that Sweden thoroughly tested all these vehicles and wrote extensive documentation about it. We don’t even have a picture of a KH38MT mounted to a flying aircraft.
Yes, thank you for proving us right by showing that they explicitly don’t have any mentions of the Kh-38MTE anymore. The current implementation (Kh-29 zoom levels and 3rd gen seeker) is completely fake and made up by Gaijin. What little we know about it from the Zhughai air show tells us that the IR seeker is complete garbage, it’s on par with a 1980s Maverick, if not worse. Lock range would be limited to a few kilometers at best.
This is a picture from 11/09/25 ( November) ~18:25
Gaijin’s take on the missile is completely fake and fabricated out of thin air anyway, it did exist on paper as an export weapon, but nobody bought it and there is almost no data on it. This thing, if it existed in any commercial capacity, would’ve been launched from stand-off range, guided with GNSS or INS and then lock a target on its own at the terminal phase, but the lock range would be extremely limited, no way this was designed to hit small moving target like tanks, the seeker (which is 1980s level trash from T-80s agava sights) was more likely designed to lock and hit a small ship or a factory.
Therefore, the lock range in game would be more akin to 5 to 8 km lock range (well within the reach of SACLOS SPAA), in ideal situations. And 8 km would be pushing it.
So they shouldn’t be in the game.
Doesn’t make them Swedish though.
Gaijin has already responded that they will not be adding this mechanic (in response to a question about targeting the X-59)
And what stops them from one: reducing the thermal quality to 1st gen thermal, and second: reducing the lock range? The seeker would see nothing past 5km. It would still be a deadly missile, the laser guided version is still extremely deadly and can be launched like a cruise missile with GNSS.
The X-38MT will be 1st generation, and other missiles will become 0 st generation?
why would they be lol
Also very funny that thats the only part youre picking out from that comment
You know the seeker resolution would be complete trash, right? Gaijin thinks they would’ve put TGP levels thermals and sights on a one way trip missile? Russia can’t even manufacture a decent pod for their planes, it took them decades to develop one, and they would be expending resources to put them on missiles? What?
The airshow in China revealed how poor the sensitivity and quality of the seeker would’ve been, and rightfully so since it only needs to lock a target at close range.
