Russian Teams Steamrolling NATO - Top Tier is Broken Again?

he does lean somewhat towards pro russian

that is an indisputable fact, and him having made videos for years is in no way related to that

Tiger only appeared in 1943; by that time, the T-34s already had radios, and with the arrival of the new German tanks, it received its 85mm armament, which wasn’t sufficient but was good enough. Its knowledge doesn’t seem to be up-to-date.

Panther and T-34 were bad tanks, they were both horrendously unreliable
We have this love affair with both but ultimately they were both inferior to the Sherman and even the Cromwell. Manufacturing aside the T-34 were not standardised and often each factory would omit key pieces to increase production rates. I will try to find the list it was eye opening. As a snippet waterproof seals for hatches (heavy rain the tank would flood and short out the electrical system) gunner auxiliary site, commander periscope instead of using glass they used polished metal.

But again if we look at top trumps.
Armour, fire power and mobility on paper they look great in combat not so. With so many even the later models being mechanically unreliable. Panther while impressively armoured the shock of an impact would often damage the electrical turret control system resulting in some cases a fire.

The Panther wasn’t bad, it just lacked reliable mechanics due to Hitler’s haste to get the vehicle into Kursk. The T34 might have been uncomfortable and simple, but to say it wasn’t ergonomic is a joke.

What do you mean? 5 years after the T-14 came out, suddenly everyone else started showing up with all their own versions of pretty much the T-14

Tiger was 1942 Siege of Leningrad,
T-34 was an acceptable tank Soviets built a lot of them but that isn’t an advantage as such the more tanks, the more crews, more spare parts and more ammunition, more fuel
It had many flaws and due to wartime production it was rushed to the front and in many cases not even welded together correctly.

Radios later models did have them but only to communicate with other tanks and command tanks and not the crew who could not hear orders during combat.

you mean 20+ years before T-14

If we were to take into account the audacious plans of the Soviet Union, no NATO-standard armored vehicle would come close.

The US has experimented with the idea long before the Abrams X. The TTB much like the Object 195 the idea is sound enough providing the software and control systems are up to the task.

It was very cramped even NK tankers who are historically shorter build than Soviet ones had issues getting in and out of the tank. Didn’t the designer basically die from Pneumonia during the 1000km test?
It was not a comfortable tank.

Panther is a good tank, but not a great tank for Germany and we see this when France after the 2nd WW keen to rebuild their armoured forces start to hoover up all of the surviving Panther tanks and soon realise they are terrible (fire power aside)

Good thing they just made a new T-90 transmission. Yes it took wayyy too long.

But T-14 also has a good reverse gear.

Don’t forget the T-14 has Vacuum-1

Um. Ukrainians have reported disliking all tanks. Even the abrams.

Yes you did, i had nearly 500 games in the MI28 before LMUR and still had to research it.
And the US has to research the same amount of helis as Russia to get the f&f missiles, so it’s not bias, it’s actually very fair.

Most recent interviews the Air assault brigade operating CR2s in Kursk loved the tank. But yes there have been numerous criticisms of Western hardware

That’s why they lost a bunch of Leo’s and IFVs to a single KA-52?

Youu do realize why they say they like X tank right? It’s because they need more. You gotta talk up someone you want something from.

I don’t know what you expect VIkhrs is a potent system as is the Ka-52m
But Ukraine do not have NATO air force or air defence systems. Ka-52 can only operate if SHORAD is absent or destroyed.

Okay Lazerpig.

Redeffect has never taken a side, and is no way pro Russian. This proves you literally hear someone say something, and you assume it’s correct.

He is never critical of Russian tanks and always promotes them in a positive light. Maybe he isn’t I don’t know.

Lazerpig?

Yes and they don’t want crap so they ask for more of the stuff that works.
