1- Tracks ate it.
Tracks eating rounds is a universal feature of tanks.
2- Damaged track on left side, he went straight through an empty spot.
3- That’s just a miss…
This was happening long before volumetric, and even more so.
But the issue is 90% of the player with skill issue against the T series call them good lol, broken even lol.
I know but that’s precisely not what the initial comment I answered to was saying.
I think era destabilized sabot as you can clearly see. Then it’s remains somehow penetrated and killed a bunch of empty space.
There are a few questionable thing in all if this which boils down to lacking computer simulation
You still did some damage and the clip is from before the turret basket was added, post something recent
Which is kinda the problem. ERA and the behavior of rods after hitting it are insanely janky and here the remaining part of the rod flies through the most vulnerable part of the tank not empty space without doing any damage whatsoever, because every bit of spall got eaten by the fuel tank+Carousel.
ERA doing it’s intended purpose ie destroy destabilize sabot isn’t a problem
The problem is not its purpose the problem is that it’s not consistent in the slightest. Or how do you explain the behavior of the dart after penetration?
Gaijin should put it some effort to actually model era and how it works properly instead of the mess we have rn
Yes ERA doing as it should while NERA does nothing…
Show me a single comment I made on this forum complaining about these things. On the contrary, there won’t be any, you know why? Because I don’t have a skill problem. I don’t come to the forum to complain about a particular nation; I try to improve in the game instead of whining, right? Go and look at my stats.
he was saying that the ppl screaming russian bias will say how bad russian tanks are IRL
Okay, let’s play the skill games.
My favorite tanks are all from the T series. I’ve always tried to improve them as much as possible, and now I’m going to upgrade some of my old vehicles that are 1 or 2 years old and that I haven’t played in ages to improve their stats as well, totally unlike many here: “Gaijin, my Ubrums were always penetrated by Soviet tanks, gaijin, you hate Ubrums, you hate Murica, you hate freedom.”
I’m not surprised
Look, someone who complains about the USSR doesn’t own a single Soviet vehicle, nothing new here, right?
Does that make those claims any less true?
Statshaming is mean and unnecessary.
@H_ngma can have valid perspectives without having to play Soviets.
His posts’ claims about people pointing out the flaws of T-Series tanks being from “USSR players” is mostly wrong.
The statements are primarily coming from players that play multiple tech trees.
Statistics are a good tool, after all, skill and statistical issues go hand in hand, and a simple screenshot proves this. It’s understandable that someone lacking skill might struggle with the game, they might think the game favors their opponent and isn’t balanced.
Just as I use German, Japanese, and French and I never had any problems with Soviet vehicles., I was even going to finish the American line, buying the M1 Clickbait along with the Mirage F1, but since a gaijin brought a premium SU-30, I had to buy the SU-30.
Whats russian winrates looking like now compared to September? Or even august.
Love how skill less players complain about russian vehicles whilst not having any, and then on top of it bring skill into the matter. PEAK
Tho i can see it from a perspective from someone who just started, and then had to learn the different style of how Ground battles play out, and if you dont play for long you will struggle to keep up or being as good as your former self. Just never bring into conversation especially when its about balancing
Maybe instead of instantly pulling up statshark you could properly read mine and your comment?
People that suffer from skill issue against T series tanks are not going to call them bad, because it would make them look even worse.
So in my experience on this forum the people calling out the big issues the T series has are people that play the ussr or as @AlvisWisla correctly said play multiple tech trees.
No but did I say anywhere that they weren’t?
Well I mean these 2 things are not mutually exclusive. Russian tanks can be bad in game and simultaneously overperform compared to real life
