The stats and comparison… the SovetSky has more HE filler likely due to the explosive compound. That’s really the only difference I see. Yamato has the most pen and armor, and the biggest guns. So no I don’t see your point there.

The best firepower, with the best pen + filler combination (852mm for 39kg of TNT eq) and a normal fire rate for its BR
The best armor, with a thickness equivalent to Yamato (375-420mm), but without the diamond shape weakness. The side armor also extends passed the first front bulkhead, with a second smaller front bulkhead, making frontal pen almost impossible
