Russian Teams Steamrolling NATO - Top Tier is Broken Again?

Because of the lobbying mechanic that IS existent in both US and Germany :/
Same “independent government agency” is no doubt to be lobbyed by certain politician which has affiliation with the company. Its basically no doubt that happends. That happened several times with tenders to be given out for the US military at least. But thats not the reasoning here as far as i can tell. Reasoning is “abrams make by GMC docs” but “T-80 make by some french docs” is a sick logic.

Ofc theres lobbying going on but thats the beauty of a democratic system that there are multiple independent oversight mechanisms that check and balance each other. To facilitate a lie on the level were discussing youd need to lobby multiple people in: The BMVg, BAAINBw, Bundeswehr, the current party in charge, the opposition and of course the competitors in the MIC since they would have lost a contract based on unfair business practices.
Do you see how that is a tad bit harder to do than: “we can just say whatever we want, because we own the MIC and independent government agencies with oversight dont exist”?

Lobbying or straight up corruption happens often with giving out tenders. But using that to get a contract is a completely different ballpark to making the government lie on your behalf as a private company on an unfullfilled contract.

Yeah you’re delulu

It’s BMVg’s JOB to ensure the promised capability is delivered, if it isn’t, they will reject the product until is complies with requirements.

That happened to the F-125 class frigates, for example…

KMW is kept to basically the strictiest requirements even too, the ONE time they tried to lobby, they got hit with fines straight away, BMVg and BAAINBw don’t take crap from anyone after that time Lockheed bribery got a bunch of Luftwaffe pilots killed.

Lol

I never said that to be clear. For the last time, I just want armor modeled correctly in a “realistic game”. Please stop making stuff up that I didn’t say. Also you didn’t even answer the question.

Superior German armor vs virgin Chinese round. /s

Which is why most maps are urban small maps, truthfully your gun depression is a nothing burger the same with the NATO hump.

If youre gonna disagree with me at least explain why.

Is it ?
5 degrees when compared to 9 or 10 degrees of gun depression feels like a night and day difference.

Russian MBTs are pretty easy to one shot.

LFP and drivers hatch are easy kills most of the time if you have a decent dart. T-80s and T-72s are also some of the easiest tanks to kill when hull down.

I agree that the TT BMPT is waaay to survivable to a stupid level, but the T-series MBTs are hardly anything special in terms of survivability.

And ? so are western tanks. if they arent one shot they are completely imobilised by losing horizontal and engine. Meanwhile russian tanks only lose their autoloader, and if they have a round loaded they can shoot back. Especially going against russia, ive had times my sepv2 is completely immobilised by a 2s38, one shot going through and taking as mentioned before horizontal and engine. russian tanks just like every single tank in the game can be one shot, but personally i think they have more survivability from what ive mentioned above.

But yeah ill agree BMPT is stupidly busted, every shot i do on that thing it generates practically no spall.

Thats the thing, you don’t just counter Russian MBT’s when you’re fighting against Russia.

You counter both T-Series and BMPT’s which makes it pretty hard to deal with both of them at the same time, smart Russian players let BMPT’s to push to enemy and cripple them while coming in clutch, clean the rest of enemies while holding their ground.

The sole reason why BMPT is such a problematic its because it can waste your time, cripple you and making you expose to T-series rather easily.

Also BMPT’s BS damage model makes it even worse in this case.

This BS thing has the same survivability from the time when Gaijin added spall liners to MBT’s, having internal ammo belts that doesnt detonate 90% of the time also increase its survivability a lot.

Yeah I have noticed this too. Or they push in groups together with the BMPT.

When I’m hull down I’ve decided to just kill the things surrounding the BMPT first, since it’s pretty hopeless against a hull down NATO MBT.

The Russian MBTs always get caught of guard when you shoot them instead of just shooting the BMPT.

Yup, they realized its such an effective method to deal with NATO tanks.

Its a decent tactic if you can find a proper hulldown cover, on city/CQC maps tho it can be problematic.

Because they expect you take off the most BS thing first instead of focusing on them, I picked up the same tactic and it works quite well most of the time.

One thing I’ve noticed about the BMPT is how quickly they shoot out your barrel/breach. Many times you can’t even shoot out it’s ammo or lfp or anything before your barrel is gone. Even if it’s not fully gone the breach is yellow and it misfires due to damage. Seems like any other ifv struggles with cannons, like the Puma, slow fire rate, but apfsds, so I imagine it would do more damage than apds or am I wrong here?

Thats my issue with the BMP-Ts they just cripple your gun, tracks and then you are 35 second repair while a T-80UE is licking it’s lips. Pantsir is also a massive problem those 30mm APIT rounds shred barrels but at least it dies when you shoot it.
