Go for the turret roof and gunners optic area. They are pretty easy to hit and are more consistent than shooting around the gun barrel on the T-72s and T-80s.
Added bonus is that this weak spot is not that popular yet, so a lot of T-series players don’t take it into account yet.

the problem is also with you being blind as hell to the fact that russian ERA armor eats apfsds which is insane same with additional trunions on barrels etc… compare the size of weakspots on t72 vs abrams you can penetrate an abrams anywhere but the cheeks…
Thats why I like T-90M so much.
Unlike cheap ERA upgrades you can find on those 72/80’s it actually offers real protection even without ERA, not to mention spall liners and external fuel tanks offers additional survivability.

I would say Russian tanks rely on their CAS rather than on armor, because it doesn’t save them, except from people who don’t know where to shoot.

I can say both, the armour gave them enough survivable time to get enough SP to spawn CAS. Unless they intend to scout/assist for SP to spawn CAS
By the time they did the thing, the match is mostly over.
I like how you show an under-BR’d American light tank.
120S, M60 AMBT, M10 Booker, etc all counter BMPT quite easily. And it’s even easier with America’s 11.3 options.
Also if BMPT is hiding behind something, that means they can be flanked.

Unrelated but i would like to point out that the M10 is only 10.7 while the VT5 is 11.7, even when they’re quite similar imo

That is subjective opinion. Yes the flight-path is incorrect but you have 16 of them and the sheer amount make them effective against MBT’s/SAM’s.
Better for intecepting (simultaneously) multiple incoming munitions… for everything else they’re pritty much the same.
I agree, the new Pantsier was not needed at this point.

Yet when thou come and call for “protection overperforming”, its always some, again, NATO-provided info about physical testings of armor with photos and videos. Which, by the claims, differ from the samely outdated USSR textbooks.
But when it comes for “up nato protection”, you again claim the advertisment/textbooks.
