IS-7 is really that easy to play. I play it pretty braindead and my GRB K/D in it is slightly above the overall average at 2.5.
I play the IS-7 how people describe top tier Russian MBT playstyle: turn brain off, just push forward, use minimal situational awareness, goof around a lot.
I think that ease of play comes more from it’s rarity and people having no idea where to shoot it for optimal results. It’s a vehicle without stabilization, pretty poor reload speed and gun depression with mediocre mobility.
As for the stats, IS-7 in general has only like 15-30k games per month, which makes it super easy to inflate it’s stats due to it’s rarity (and mostly older, more experienced players having/playing it due to it being a 2018 event vehicle). I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to learn most of those games played were in cherrypicked downtiers to club AP slingers.

Even without a stabilizer the gun just barely moves at lowish speed.
For what it is it actually has pretty decent mobility. The reverse speed is especially decent for a Soviet/Russian vehicle.
You first need to get to that low-ish speed or remain there.
Also, if you hit uneven terrain nothing will help you.
It’s pretty mobile for a heavy tank, but in general it’s just mediocre.
There are 177 vehicles on rank 6 and IS-7 is in the 77th position (above the average) according games played list so its NOT super easy to inflate it’s stats due to it’s rarity as you say.

IS-7 is 168th out of 177 vehicles in rank 6 when it comes to games played in February.
Same for January.
In December it was 167th.
In November it was 166th.
In October it was 167th.
…
It’s clear it’s one of the least played vehicles at that tier and as such is quite vulnerable to everything I mentioned.

If you look at the actual best KDr vehicle, it’s the E100.
That’s how all the IS tanks are.
I’ll trade you my Kv-220 lol. This thing is even worse garbage. It’s my luck that I seemingly always run into a T26E5 when playing it, and I cannot literally do anything to it.
I’d sht my pants far more seeing a Tiger II H, at least you can LFP the E5.

That thing was added in 2018, of course it’ll have more games played than some obscure things added in 2022 for example. IS-7 is barely even played, mostly by older players that might even spawn it in cherrypicked situations.
Situation isn’t much different with other extremely rare vehicles too.

Are any tanks with better stats than IS-7 ? Ofcourse there are, E-100 is one of them who denied it, i showed IS-7 has the best K/D ratio on Rank 6 (E-100 is RANK 5) that make it anything but a ‘‘cannon fodder’’
Consider all these I have written above and then try to find out which one is the ‘‘disingenuous strawman’’ that cant comprehend things…
