The best US choppers with APKWS can take something like 28 missiles and they are utterly worthless against the majority of targets.
People can take 6 AGM-65D or 4 AGM-65G and they’ll probably take the lower number because SAP-HE Mavericks are just objectively stronger.
A smaller number of more effective weapons is universally considered better than a larger number of inconsistent weapons. LMUR is literally a guaranteed one-hit kill on anything it hits 95% of the time now, while JAGM and similar have to contend with using one of the weakest ammo types when it comes to post-penetration damage and (for now; tandem warheads do not exist any longer due to a bug) some of the weakest penetration at top tier.
50mm HE penetration is better than 2000mm of HEAT penetration when that HE is a guaranteed one-shot and the 2000mm is not.
This also doesn’t even take the improved top attack performance of LMUR putting it even further above JAGM and all other AGMs.
