Russian tanks not getting one shotted

Kinda. Most tanks use one piece ammo. The exceptions are the British Challengers and tanks that use Soviet style auto loader. In the one piece ammo, the entire round also contains the propellant. British tanks use a 3 piece ammo that is basically 2 piece as I believe the 3 part is just the firing pin. For the Challengers, the APFSDS warhead is just the metal rod with no explosive in it.
