Russian tanks are overrated as hell

I disagree with the Oplot being better than the T-80s. Currently the oplot is at best a sidegrade to the T-80Us.

Track kills and cupola kill is a big difference

I hope you don’t mind me asking why you think the Oplot is better

so 4 weakspots on the abrams, still not enough compared to 6 weakspots on the T-series tanks though

Weakspot area on the Abrams is much larger than on the T-series generally, which is equally important or even more important than amount of weakspots.

Yeah, because the Abrams is generally far easier to overpressure than a T-series lol. That is the difference.

3OF26 says

I don’t carry 5 of them for light tanks!

other then the big LFP, the abrams have pretty small weakspots, especially on range, the breach shot is kinda unreliable, only leaving the turret ring, and well if you back up quickly its not really big problem no,
with T-series its different though you can easily kill them with just shooting the turret roof lmfao

pretty funny but i have rarely died to them, still fun to use though

You can literally see in the pics that the nato mbts have more surface area to pen lol

Sure it’s not 100% reliable, but it very satisfying when it works

I even got a M1A1 AIM with the Type 16s HESH once, that was awesome!

not that they are reliable(they are pretty reliable) it just i dont see people use it as much lmfao

I think people just look at what has the highest pen and take only that (looking at those people that take a full load of barrel launched ATGMs in Russian tanks… YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!), they don’t think about having any versatility in their load out.

The Abrams weakspots are pretty sizable. They are one of the easiest tanks to one shot at top tier, besides the Ariete, Leclerc and Type 10.

And you can even kill them before they expose their gun mantlet when hull down, because their roof weakspots are just that easy to hit and overpressure with HE.

never had that happen to me tbf, other than the HE thing(happened a dozen times but thats also to me in the T-series im playing to so ) the problems i had with abrams was me being bad and learning the game, that was kinda it

The Abrams is pretty much the main reason I even bring HE to top tier to begin with. It’s just very fun to one shot a tank when it can’t fight back yet.

Skill issue

  • M1A2: 68
  • T90M: 60
  • T80BVM: 70
  • Leo2a7: 61
  • Chally 2: 59
  • Type 10: 70
  • ZTZ99A: 75
  • Ariete: 65
  • Leclerc: 80
  • Strv: 68
  • Merkava: 64

So yeah, T90M almost same speed as the leopard, chally and merkava.
T80BVM being one of the fastest, being the 3rd place in fast tanks, same speed at type 10. Well yeah I was wrong, not the fastest, but one of the fastest ingame.

Just checked and yeah you are right, its one of the slower reloads ingame :p

Well upper front plate its the most armored part of a tank chasis, no sabot will pen there, you would need a lower front plate shot instead, which its small in compare with an abrams

Primarily, the reverse gear benefits my defensive playstyle, allowing me to stealth kill more effectively and avoid taking hits by staying exposed for longer periods, unlike T-72s and T-80s they are way too slow to get out. This improvement enhances overall survivability. Another thing about the mobility is that it allows me to reposition quickly and enter the firing position, which in many scenarios like you spot a target and only have a small window of time to attack it, Oplot doesn’t miss those kinds of opportunities as often unlike T-72s/T-80s.

Note that most of the kills were by the stock 3bm42, only last few matches with 3BM46 equivalent, I’d say this vehicles already perform better than most of my fully spaded T-80s.

My guy, for the love of god don’t ever use statcard top speeds as an argument again, as they are probably the most useless thing.
