I dont recall seeing it ever on the FGR2, though has been a while. Tomorrow i’ll see if I can replicate it on that aircraft. I dont have US aircraft, so i’ll leave it to others to double check.
Adjusting the seat however, does somewhat make sense though, if that is what you are doing to achieve these results. Sounds more like an edge-case bug than a proper “bias based” issue
Sorry for the lack of evedence but the site stopped me from uploading more. I have so many shots showing how hard it is to see when the reflection is bad.
The title is a bit misleading but it gets people talking and I’m vainly hoping it gets to the devs and something actually happens. I like this game and want to enjoy the time I spend in it and not make myself blind from squinting through a pointless reflection. USA tree is just something I started with because I didn’t know any better

I think what is happening is people don’t know that you can adjust your seat.
What I see is Russian jets are commonly used to pvp in sim and everyone else is ground pounding. It blows my mind how almost no one does it.
Let’s go under the assumption i can recreate (which is easier because I don’t have time for too much of this).
2 bugged American jets is not Russian bias. Why not French/Italian/Chinese/Swedish/British/German/israeli bias?
That AH is clearly a bug though, so why not bug report and be done with it? Maybe a post about poor QA on well used jets. Why stir the pot by calling bias to an arbitrarily related nation? Ironically, falsly calling bias IS bias. Enough of that already by players in this game and society in general. It gives the people (falsly) calling “Russophobia” a foundation of truth.
I dont know if I entirely agree with that, I see far more Su-39s at the moment than any other soviet jet in EC8. I think its more likely an issue of canopy angle and that the reflection is just unfortunately occurs on the F4s/F5s. With data, a bug report can probably issued though and might see a fix.
Though certainly a lot of green pilots flying the Premium F4s too
from the pictures you posted I’d say the american cockpits have much better visibility compared to soviet cockpits but sure, proof, ok

MiG-21’s, especially earlier ones, have donkey visibility imo.
The windscreen wouldn’t even have a reflection like this. Yet people think it’s correct… Lol
I guess you struggle with seeing what the post is really about. It’s awareness that reflections like this would exist. Are not even across jets and have negative effects that ruin the gameplay. Not all jets are accessable but the phantoms are rife with ott reflections. May find more in the future play…

I don’t play to much sim with american tech tree, I have whole tech-tree grinded. But when I play german F-4F i have the same problem as you have. It is very frustrating when you can’t see your target because of these stupid reflections.

BVM can’t lolpen regardless. Has to hit weakspots same as Chally & Leclerc.
Sweden has an on-par helicopter, a vastly superior light tank, on-part SPAA at worst superior at best, and on-par CAS which will become more powerful when JAS-39 comes.
