I’m seriously about to delete the game A million-dollar company and they still can’t fix these kinds of bugs
To be honest this also happened to me as well, it’s a server issue, but there’s no excuse, things like these should’ve been fixed a long time ago, I won’t blame you and even if you want to uninstall the game is a completely fair point, held by duct tapes, hopes and prayers, War Thunder is indeed frustating most of the time.

I don’t think it’s a server issue this is straight-up Gaijin’s negligence. I mean, how can a million-dollar company that owns such a successful game still make such basic mistakes? This has happened to me many times, but this was the clearest example I’ve caught. It’s really starting to get on my nerves, especially the BMPTs. Honestly, if I end up deleting the game, the main reason will be the BMPTs
Gaijin justify issues with penetration damage calculation with the client-to-server connection issues by the moment that happen. It happens in a lot of shapes or forms: one being the fact that you did penetrated, caused spalling but the (my assumption) spall liner stopped the initial damage but the issue caused neglected further damage or proper calculation, in other instances you can pen but have absolute no spalling, others the server don’t even compute you’ve shotted a projectile, others the vehicle recieve no or not enough damage and so on, as much the Terminator is a tough nut to crack, it can happen to any vehicle.
Yeah, that’s true I’ve experienced this many times. It’s honestly really frustrating. I’ve even started thinking maybe I should just play World of Tanks instead :D
Lets be honest, they cant even create correct hitboxes for trees/buildings and a consistent sound system so expecting damage to work properly is just a hope and a prayer.
This applies to WoT , right? I played it for a while back then it wasn’t that bad. I just didn’t like its simplicity, the health bar, and the childish look When I say ‘back then,’ I mean like 10 years ago
i mean why would it it apply to WoT as well? i have no idea i dont play it and this is a discussion about war thunder so no idea why youd think it would apply to that as well.
Wrong choice of words, sorry. What I meant is, are you talking about War Thunder or WOT? Because even though I hate it at times, War Thunder is very successful in many ways. Having issues like this is a big problem, but I haven’t seen another game as successful as this one. You just sometimes have to pray to the sacred snail
