Russian Bias in 2026?

But the F3 tested it which is the criteria

Nope they were hot garbage like most FM bug reports are

Just when the reason for the gimped loadout is a bit biased as well like completely missing anti era rounds. Other than that perfectly fine, I wouldn’t want my Tornado at 14.7 just because it could carry IRIS Ts.

And there are conflicting sources about that, you can ask in the Leclerc thread about them those guys know their stuff

You literally can’t. Name me one counterexample to the LMUR loft situation. One nato vehicle with fake belts preventing detonation. One completely fake nato missile. One ship with fake armor and a fake shell room. One nato plane with fake missile racks. One situation where a russian missile got nerfed because it kinda looks like a nato missile, one nato PESA that scans faster than a modern AESA? Got something for those?

Leopards in general when spall liners is a thing when first added, straight dart to the crews in turret but nothing because it ate everything before modules were also a thing

I sure love non unemployed GIAT employees without the docs and based on wikis and some sketchy websites they saw 2 years ago

That just means that russian bias doesn’t automatically make russia the best at the game which is correct. It doesn’t change anything about the preferential treatment tho

the only person I know so far that actually knows about tanks or this case Leopards in general while also providing actual sources and docs is Toxindragon (used to known as) now called Ina

1: I’ll dig into that when I have time, but people take issue with tested Russian stuff and not any other nation.

2: Ion can elaborate on this if he hasn’t already.

3: Anti era is not in the game because it would be too powerful, not bias, it’s balance.

4: I’ve already said what is needed, GIAT and the manual are far more trustworthy.

5:
Idk naval but besides what I’ve already sent:

Bullpups nuking literally anything if they landed in the same postal code, doing more damage than 38MTs for a while after release. There was nothing RU had even close to this at the time.

Sparrows were also essentially non functional irl, but people will take issue with ER. I’m not too keen on air so I’ll let someone else handle that.

T29 immune to ammo detonation like I said.

Those are strong additions or bugs in the T29s case.
None of these are Gaijin deliberately going against sources to make stuff better than it should be. And you won’t find examples where they do outside of Russian top tier. Also I’ve given you a list of things to find nato examples for, should be easy, shouldn’t it?

And how do you know it wasn’t intentional to make an already op premium even more op to make more money? Not out of Gaijins line.

Also, non top tier examples count, just because you main top tier doesn’t mean every other br doesn’t count.

Anyhoo, I’ll be taking my leave now, but I’ll be back with counterpoint examples.

Including yourself right? can’t hogs all the parties for ourselves

Because other than the BMPT the T29 didn’t have a literal patch where they shoehorned in the Buff.

Looking forward to it

What?

Seems awfully convenient doesn’t it, just like when they launched the M1 with 0 counter and while it actively destroyed everything around it, they introduce the XM1 as a premium. Surely it’s not to capitalize on the people wanting a fast way to grind the new insanely op vehicle.

Hi gang, i just want to state my observations so far in game:

  • a lot of details or game mechanics are not modelled until something russian has it (Missiles holding an altitude, this is a thing on the AJ.138 but was denied at the time bc it wasnt in game bu a russian missile got it immediately and if the new pantsir has a warhead damage based on other factors and not just the explosive mass of the ring and instead includes the pre fragmented warheads as this was denied for RB70 and such before)

  • In squadron battles you will find russian /soviet vehicles are the “meta”, for example the BI is usually the meta at ~7.0, 2s38 for ~10.7, Su-30 SM2 for ~14.3, BMD-4M for ~9.7, Pantsir for ~12.0, Tu-2S for ~7.0-> 5.7, Tu-2 (Hidden) for ~4.7, Object 279 for ~ 9.0 and Tor for ~11.3
There are a few more like the Su-25BM but theyre a bit more specific or i simply dont like to remember their existence like the top tier Mi 28
And dont get me wrong there are defo other nations that have meta vehicles, israel with its LF IX and F IX are the dominant fighters for their BRs but at the same time a lot of Yak 9Ks are pulled out
And the Chinese ZSU 57 is very potent for a while and so is FlakPz 341
A lot of the “meta” nations are spread out besides a lot of them being russian/soviet and theirs is usually the key vehicle, like the SPAA, Bomber and light tank are usually the limited vehicles and so the “meta” matters most and are consistent across multiple br ranges due to the nature of their strength
Theres also some old “meta” vehicles like the T64BV we have in game as that was 9.7 but it is now much higher and it is yet to be seen how much that affects it but presumably, a lot.

  • Somewhat tying into the last point, russian vehicles are at times simply, on paper, the best at a certain thing with no direct competitors. The pantsir was added years ago with no direct competitors even though they do exist (RBS 23 for example), it has dominated top tier competitions and in the hands of decent players and now its basically free to everyone with the free random vehicles

  • It also seems from my experience in bug reporting that some russian vehicles are overestimated in their abilities with the T64A having in excess of 100mm of protection that it should not have had, it still is overperforming now after the nerf but that is because the source used did not cover the 1971 turret.
The T64B shares the same armour issue with the turret and presumably any composite based on homogenous armour + textolite is too yet i dont think i can name another tank that isnt below what its rated for (partially bc its not reported or not yet fixed but also bc it came in lower than it is irl) and you even have data thats been reported for 8 years without a fix for armour (ROMOR ERA)

Just thought of another cool detail to share, whilst most APFSDS shells are calculated via the Lanz Odermatt formula, Soviet/Russian APFSDS are not, that is because Lanz Odermatt cannot handle composite ammunition and so each composite apfsds is coded into the game based off irl numbers
Okay bye gang

you forgot spall liners.

Mighty understatement mate

They had JAGMs which are more than enough to counter SACLOS AAs like Pantsir.

If those free players are so bad, then in the full month (January) of them controlling Pantsir would drastically tank it’s stats when compared to December, but it didn’t happen.

Having such a massive drop in performance over a 15-day stretch would imply that performance would decrease even more when full month stats go live.

Helicopters were added on 11th of November.
It takes time to grind a whole new helicopter + modifications in an obscure nation, so their presence in November was definitely extremely low. In January, those helicopters had like 3-4x more games played than in November and for obvious reasons.

It would affect the Pantsir, but just not directly.
64E can ignore IR SAMs and focus it’s attention to something that can actually hurt it, which includes Pantsir. Without DLIRCM they would be extremely vulnerable to things like SLM, so dealing with those things first should’ve been a priority and that definitely benefited SACLOS AAs.

You could, but forgetting the fact it can actually see 11.0s is a bit naive.
Those are some easy kills that 12.7s can’t even think of getting.

This would imply shooting at the helicopter contact as soon as it appeared on the radar, making it extremely easy to bait out your missiles super quickly. Properly played helicopters in good spots simply cannot be countered by SACLOS AAs, which would just wait either for the imminent doom or being rendered completely useless after all missiles have been fired.

That bro gotta be trolling at this point lol I don’t believe anybody could be this dense, maybe his mission is to make NATO mains looking as bad as possible.

A bunch of br USA just straight up murica bais

6.7 best heavy tanks, A-1H
7.0 best heavy tank, A2D
8.3 former best heavy tank
9.0 best SPAA
11.3 former M1A1 and IPM1 duo
12.0 5000 spare Abrams, AGS

The game doesn’t revolves around top tier bro that’s like saying a nation is strong on one br then it’s bias. All the hoo haas and not even once mention the USA bias when T58 having the highest KD and win rate at one point lol

You’re acting as if Spikes didn’t exist for years, LMURs didn’t exist for 3 months. The JAGM didn’t do anything new other than new range and increase damage. Both of which doesn’t change the fact that majority of helicopter engangements occur from below 10km due to the nature of maps.

I don’t have the numbers for it, it’s based of my experience fighting against these helis.

FnF munitions was added to the two biggest nations back in september and we instantly saw a massive drop in the KD of the new SPAA however we didn’t see that in SACLOS spaa.

Again, don’t have the numbers for it thus making both statements hard to prove.

With PPI, it makes it really easy to distinguish between missiles and helicopters.

Majority of SACLOS SPAA is not suited towards fighting helis or planes in general, but it can’t be said about the Pantsir.

It still has weaknesses obviously, but the meta is helicopters and the only counter is SACLOS which the Pantsir is most suited for. The entire thread started because of a counter to these helis only given to Russia. But what about other nations? That is the main issue here.

at toptier there is russian bias Buk + PANTSIR S1 combo + BMPT spam and SU30SM2 + KH-38MT + MI28NM LMUR spam at toptier has made top tier very unfun to play.

how to fix it

1 personally every country should recieve a SPAA Like pantsir that has a gun to handle close range. 2 every country should get a KH38MT equivlent as there some of the hardest missiles to counter with the most range and speed. 3 ALL Helicopters should loose its DIRCRM or whatever you call there IR protection as it makes it almost impossible to kill helis without using your gun. 4 BMPT needs some nerf to survivability hull down its basically unkillable in a 1v1.
