100% agree with you here but saying that good player opinions dont matter is not correct when balancing high skill ceiling vehicles is just as important as balancing for the average.
Absolutely right but thats exactly why you have to make arguments that are completely independent of any player skill whatsoever. Just say that the BMPTs fake belt stays fake no matter if youre good or bad at the game and watch necrons soil himself and run away since he can’t answer that by simply pointing at his stats

The balance is on SL earnings? So growth of techtree? They want everyone to get to top tier at the same time, as slow as possible? I can’t complain about that lol. I would have to disagree with you here. To imagine the worst possible gameplay would be to press W and shoot. I think we can all agree that there isn’t much thought behind that. And what vehicle from what nation provides this gameplay style the best?
Yep precisely the stuff I was talking about. The turret damage model is so terrible that engaging a hull down BMPT is nightmare material compared to everything else in the game.
Okay fair, I can see how good players would ruin a game if the game didn’t take into account skill ceilling. I have been out witted in game, but I find my experience is more getting swarmed by T-series tanks pressing W and lol-penning me.
As far as I know, they use average SL earnings without modifiers (per hour I think) for their BR calculations, and I assume in their other balancing decisions as well.
Germany, Russia, several American tanks, and even a few British or French tanks. I agree that Russian T series tanks do have some of that playstyle, but they aren’t exactly stellar vehicles, just like how the panthers aren’t the greatest despite having good armour and firepower.
Russians vehicles are inferior by design and thus need their NATO counterparts to be uptiered, poorly modeled, and their respective bug reports to be ignored.
All vehicles are working as intending, game balance is fine, and there is just a mass psychosis of NATO players endlessly complaining.

Necron being good at the game still will show OP vehicles because OP vehicles Necron uses will be far above his average performance in like-vehicles.
