They still work well, a lot of nations at top tier have FnF missiles. Laser guided is one of many.
It’s already known they’re nerfed years ago. They are a broken concept for the video game. Locking and launching from a commanders sight takes less than a second definitely not the same as exposing your turret.
The apaches IR missiles brings 16, it doesn’t mean you’re getting 16 kills! You can flood enemy spaa from a perfect angle however
Russia holds the best spaa in game and soon China. I personally would like to see excellent spaa for all nations but no one plays more CAS than NATO nations. Russia can get flooded by CAS very quickly and good pilots can do a lot against panstir.
i mean the ground spikes/MMP flight’s profile is objectively bad/wrong, the one on the helicopters is much better, that being saind they annihilate light vehicles
I’ve had a lot more consistency with the Akeron MMPs than with the Spikes, to be fair. I wonder if anyone else has noticed.
When I take out the EBRC test drive the Akerons kill in one hit most of the time. Spikes on the other hand are lucky if they take out a barrel or one crew member.
I contest that with personal experience of facing at least one Yak-130 every match who dominates everything and I can’t do anything to it with Ozelot/Gepard as it escapes the lock every time. Might have to do with Stingers’ inconsistency?

Stingers are terrible.
They only work if the person you’re using them against is blasting EDM in their headphones and paying no attention.
All anyone needs to do to defeat them is turn slightly, that’s it. They’re absolute garbage.
I wouldn’t call them that terrible, they do sometimes work. They’re just wildly inconsistent compared to, you know… anything Soviet/Russian, if you catch my drift. Igla is somehow more effective than a Stinger, even if Battlefield 3 and 4 taught me that both are equally effective lol
The angle of attack makes any aircraft without 90 degree missiles susceptible to any ordnance. Cas is the strongest around BR 10-12. The simplest and most broken mechanic is popping one flare 90 degrees from your opponent. That’s why I always encourage people to being proxy ammo sppa even if it’s a less BR than any IR or BR 10 spaa since they simply suck against a good pilot.
The ease of barel rolling an IR missile in GRB is just plain dumb. Add rockets that can act as flares and Ballistics computer for a vulcan 20mm your cooked uf you don’t run gun spaas.

You have to be totally switched off/terrible to die to stingers in this game, they’re utterly useless against anyone semi-aware.
I genuinely could not tell you the last time I died to a stinger in CAS. They’re also useless against any helicopter with a brain as they will never even acquire a lock.

yet a UA kid with an FPV drone still cooks the ammo off, stop You know those T-72s and 80s in Grozny have the exact same flaw a 20mm plate may add some protection but not from a direct Dart hit.
In an age of everyone lying on the internet…use your eyes, look at footage of T series tanks getting hit in the centre and come back to us. Just because Gaijin say it is doesn’t mean it is true.
More likely they are paid to act as a vehicle to counter act the atrocious global image the world has of the RF armed forces (excluding the VKS) It has not been a good 5 years.
Notice how a CR2 is more likely to pop it’s turret than a T-90M or T-80BVM such is the lengths they go to, convincing kids on the internet that Russia is strong
You stated that the 20mm plate would provide protection from spalling, but the spalling in question is from a Dart travelling at 1700ms-1
That armour is not designed to or would offer any real protection to the spall generated from that kind of dart through the lower front plate.
As I mentioned earlier the T-90M and T-80BVM Obr 24 do have these small armoured improvements for the autoloader however we still and continue to see ammunition detonations from tanks that have this in place and those are not being caused by kinetic penetrators but by chemical rounds.
