I have stopped responding and I simply dont care what happens anymore to this game after random no pen and post pen garbage by these dvs and absulte rng they can call them whatever they want. I had one game playing 279 and these I dont know how to call them, gave a turret ring bounce on a XM246 and two turret shots doing limited damage and one shot only taking out the right barrel of that aa this game can go to trash. I have had so many shots fired by my barrel watching it switch camera angels and then getting 1 shot killed its disgusting. Not to mention my Surblinde penetration with limited damage and my American heavy tank being bounced around by side armor which will never do that in irl I simply dont care. They can be called whatever people want to.
It is not a skill issue this game nerfs post pen damage, and penetration at least several times a month, depeding creating these see-saw games in which one team overuns the other. You are correct in saying its not just Soviet bias, it can swing to the US and Sweden within a second as you watch your shots bounce more often than not or pen going straight into the engine or only get one crew member .
That tank is the epitomy of rng bs and total random no skill game play. It can some how not pen tracks on vehicles or get constant one shot kills you never know what you gonna get. Most of the time though so many player get unfairly killed due to some bs ground bounce penetration. We dont need stuff like that in this game.
This gepard from another mother has an pretty empty turret, especially you shot them in the middle of the turret it does nothing for the most part, like it’s too thin to even set the fuze off or something, even darts through the turret is a hit and miss. The m-65 cannon still held up fine these days, it won’t pen as good as the dm23 or equivalents but things it faced are mostly squishy enough to easily penned by it and resulting in OHKO. Only troubles is light tank that has armor that is way too thin to set off the fuze so you get this solid ap effect, otherwise this heavy tank has everything else dialed in, mobility, sufficient armor and reload timer that isn’t too slow to fight modern mbts.

very true it has thin armor but in irl it is not that thin, the thing is is that the XM246 actually shatered the 130mm shell that is its turret ring which should not happen at all. not only that it survived 3 other turret shot hits. I will soon start making videos and in the future I will be come the new dog thunder of warthunder.

an unlevelled targeting skill only moves the turret in one axis at a time, that is MISERABLE

By the time that you get up the conqueror, you would have obtained more than enough points to max out targetting, it ones of the cheaper skills to begin with
mf I only play britain for the exact reason that it’s my best crews that’s why I don’t change nations without good reason (i.e. a battle pass shop vehicle I want)
In many cases it is completely the oposite depending on the br. Soviet tanks and on certain maps are almost reduced to cannon fodder. What I would like to decrease is the amount of random non pen bounces and partial penetration on otherwise devestating hits. Volumentric seems like a variable that can be increased and decreased during updates.
Can also try 11.7, I never thought of Challenger 2 would be slaying this hard. Maybe buy one during sales, even my M1A1/T-80U doesn’t perform nearly as good. Brits has some really good stuffs, just isn’t at 7.7
