Spalling was more than enough to detonate carousel ammo, its just autoloader ate most of it which is a common problem with any autoloaders.

The SM SV is definitely oppressive and significantly superior to any other SAM system in the game.
Probably should not have been added given that one awake SM SV can entirely negate all opposing CAS and incoming munitions.
Most of the top tier games right now seem to boil down to the opposing side getting hammered by russian CAS meanwhile opposing CAS can’t apply any meaningful effect.

You can find footage of just how “effective” they are compared to the videogame, meanwhile if you read up on the German IRIS-T SLM with all its systems and reports from real-life use, it does have close to 100% hit rate, but in the game it gets confused by helis and flares all the time and misses (even though it literally has filtering systems for it). Hensoldt TRML-4D AESA radar? Doesn’t exist apparently. Helicopters with DIRCM systems are somehow completely immune to IRIS-T SLM missiles. You can fire all 8 missiles at a helicopter and none of them will hit. This directly contradicts the manufacturer’s statements and the actual physics of such systems. In reality, two DIRCMs on a helicopter cannot physically counter 8 missiles at the same time. Infrared + inertial + radio correction? Also apparently becomes irrelevant, but a Pantsir beats it by a landslide and doesn’t even let aircraft out of spawn. It’s like they confused the two and swapped their stats huh?
I’d even dare guess why, btw. Because Gaijin originally being a Russian company, they’re scared of being hit with the Russian “discrediting the army” law so they make Russia stronger out of fear of their country’s justice system or something?
SM SV itself isn’t the problem, hypersonic missiles are.
If it only had regular missiles from Pantsir S1 alongside with anti munition missiles it wouldn’t be this problematic, right now it can keep anything away from battlefield while also easily deal with any incoming munitions.
Solution would be removing those missiles that has fictional performance.

Well since the SM SV as in the game at the moment has those missiles then the SM SV is the problem.
They’re not going to remove the missiles.
They will certainly not gonna remove the entire platform itself so best solution either fix the flight parameters on hypersonic missiles or remove them entirely.
You know they’re not going to do that.

What autoloader mechanics? T-90m has 20mm plate around ammo stopping spall.
For example Ariete 6mm plate
Stopping m829a3 spall from detonating ammo
And that’s only 6mm, T-90 has whole twenty
20mm plate is certainly not enough to stop spalling, not to mention other tanks with autoloaders also soaks the spalling without any plate.
You shot the empty space and expecting to detonate the ammo easily? not to mention unlike T90M’s lfp Ariete’s side armor is so thin it usually doesnt generate spall if you ‘‘spesifically’’ aim to the empty zones.
It is, just as 6mm is enough.
