at top top tier most mbts gun handling is the same (40°sec vertical and horizontal, except for Type10/TKX and some Challys). But at around 11.7 thats definitely true. lots of russian mbts there suffer from the atrocious 4,4 °/s gun elevation speed, worse vertical gun handling than lots of nato mbts and ofc the overall bad gun depression which afaik is due to the low profile of t-series tanks making it impossible to depress teh gun further due to the roof being in the way of the breech (not sure if thats entirely true). its similar to the us short stop stabilizers on shermans vs russian t34s. One has better gun handling but has to aim for smaller weakspots. the other one has worse gun handling due to bad gun depression and no stab and worse mobility in reverse.
Considering perks russian tanks actually also get a lot of them: namely ess, 12.7 mm mgs and insanely good he rounds. US is arguably the king in that department though. Abrams get it all: ESS working especially well with very good reverse, proxy fuze heatfs round that go almost as fast as a dart and tons of 50 cals. If you know how to use them they can help in lots of situations or at least do a very funni occasionally. Compared to that Leclercs, Type 10s/TKXs, Challys or even Leos are absolute toddlers. No ess, no 50 cals (most of them at least), no special rounds (well they get he…though Leclercs F1 HE with 1.5 kg less explosive mass than the russian ones making it much more unlikely to overpressure certain tanks with shots to the top of their turrets)

Not sure if it should called as bias but their damage model is broken.
Other than that they are pretty ok tanks, not great not terrible.
He might be hitting his turning point of “Russian Bias” to “Abrams is the best tank” phase.

I think I should change to the support role IFV and CAP so the team won’t get LMUR and KH38MT to their head.
Personally I use either 2S25M or BMPT if I want to spam CAS on Russian sides.
Do the same thing if I want to do CAP duty on NATO side.
Yeah, Ajax is kinda good to me right now. Scout and hold until the front line kinda stale then switch to CAP.
That vehicle would’ve been my choice if it had better sights and F&F missiles.
Until Uk introduces better version I’m gonna stick with CRV Block 2 despite bein also trash.
I thought of it but CRV Block2 has Ackermann steering, its just miserable to move around. trading shots with wheeled vehicles is death
